District No. 125, King County, Washington, amending Resolution No. 82-10-13-99 to include a reference to the King County Council's approval of annexation of certain territory (Hall and others).

l WHEREAS, on October 13, 1982, the Board of Commissioners

~ passed Resolution No. 82-10-13-99 approving annexation of certain

territory; and

WHEREAS, said Resolution neglected to include a reference

to the approval of said annexation by the King County Council; ~lOW,

THEREFORE ,

BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Water

District No. 125, King County, Washington, that Resolution No.

82-10-13-99 is hereby amended to include the following:

The annexation of the following tract, to-wit:

The East 1/2 of Tract 19 and all of Tract 20 together with that portion of South 135th Street lying northerly and easterly of said tracts of Fostoria Garden Tracts as recorded in Volume 9, Page 95, in records of King County as recorded in Auditor's File Number 215515; said tracts being in the northeast 1/4 of Section 15, Township 23 north, Range 4 east, W.M.

is approved on the additional basis of the September 17, 1982

approval by the King County Council per King County Ordinance

No. 6121, a copy of which is attached to this Resolution and

incorporated herein by this reference.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the seven certified copies

of this Resolution be forwarded to the King County Council for

such further action as is required.

ADOPTED at a regular open public meeting of the Board

of Commissioners of Water District No. 125, King County,

Washington, held on the 12th day of January, 1983.

RESOLUTION NO. 82-10-13-99

A RESOLUTION of the Board of Commissioners of Water District No. 125 approving annexation of

certain territory.

WHEREAS, there was filed with the Board of Commissioners of

Water District No. 125 a petition containing the signatures of 607. of

the land owners of the area of land to be annexed for annexation of

certain territory to said Water District No. 125; and

WHEREAS, the sufficiency of the signatures on said petition

has been certified; and ~

WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on said petition for

annexation of territory at 7:00 p.m., June 9, 1982, at the Water

District Office; and

WHEREAS, publication of said public hearing was duly made in

Highline Times, a newspaper of general circulation in the area, on May

26, 1982, and proper posting of notice was accomplished; and

..---... WHEREAS, Notice of Intention to annex said territory, a legal

description of the territory to be annexed, and a plat of boundaries

were filed with the King County Boundary Review Board with District

Resolution No. 82-5-12-96, Boundary Review Board File No. 1103; and

WHEREAS, the District comprehensive plan has been amended;

and

WHEREAS, by letter dated September 9, 1982, the Boundary

Review Board did notify the District that such annexation of territory

was deemed approved; and

WHEREAS, Water District No. 125 concurs in said annexation;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners

of Water District No. 125 hereby annexes the following described

territory, to wit:

THE EAST \ OF TRACT 19 AND ALL OF TRACT 20 TOGETHER WITH THAT PORTION OF SOUTH 135TH STREET LYING NORTHERLY AND EASTERLY OF SAID TRACTS OF FOSTORIA GARDEN TRACTS AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 9, PAGE 95, IN RECORDS OF KING COUNTY AS RECORDED IN AUDITOR'S FILE NUMBER 215515; SAID TRACTS BEING IN THE NORTHEAST ~ OF SECTION 15, TOWNSHIP 23 NORTH, RANGE 4 EAST, W.M.

Said Annexation shall be effective as of October 13, 1982.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the petition for annexation,

together with seven (7) certified copies of this Resolution, be

forwarded to the King County Council for such further action as by law

i s required .

ADOPTED this 13th day of October, 1982, by the Board of

Commissioners of Water District No. 125, King County, Washington, at a

regular meeting thereof.

ORDINANCE NO. 6121 AN ORDINANCE relating to the annexation of an area known as Hall and Others to King County Water District No. 125.

STATEMENT OF FACT:

1. A notice of intention proposing the annexation of an

area known as Hall and Others to King County Water District

No. 125 was filed with the County Council effective August 6,

1982.

2. King County Water District No. 125 has found the

petiton for annexation to be sufficient and has, by Resolution

No. 82-5-12-96 concurred with ihe proposed annexation.

3. King County Water District No. 125 filed a Declaration

of Non-significant Impact dated June 12, 1981, on the proposed

annexation.

4. The County Council held a public heating on the 1~ day of ~~ 19 ~~ ., and has considered the

criteria set forth in RCW 57.02.040.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:

SECTION 1. The annexation by King County Water District

No. 125 of the area known as Hall and Others and described in

Section 3 herein is approved. King County Council Annexation

Report on Hall on Others is attached and made a part of this

ordinance.

SECTION 2. Completion of this annexation does not consti ­

tute county approval -or disapproval of any other permits,

certifications, or actions necessary to provide service to this

annexation area.

SECTION 3. The area known as Hall and Others to be annexed

is described as follows:
