Cronin 1,Cian o Shea 1 and 2 from the impressive Luke Heffernan to leave the final score 14 Asdee 1.
This game was of little bene-fit to both teams and the referee should have blown it up long before fulltime. The lads are playing brilliantly at the moment, with their pass-ing and movement a joy to watch. The hard work in training with Sean o Sullivan is beginning to pay off .
Man of the match Padraig
Cronin.
On Saturday we entertained Asdee in a league match at the grass pitch.
This was a great opportunity to close the gap on league leaders Castleisland who were on cup duty. The lads did so in style!
Asdee were the only team to breach our defense in the league this season having scored twice in the away fixture and gave us a very good game going down 5 to 2, but they were a pale
shadow of that team on Saturday .
We started in a blaze of goals and were 3 goals up in the first 15 minutes. Padraig Cronin our Pocket Rocket left back scored 2 great goals combining with his partner in crime Kealan Cahill on both occasions and big Aaron McCarthy add-ing a super goal. The floodgates opened after this with Jonathan Kissane add-ing 2 and Dylan Messi O
Sullivan knocking in one as well to make the halftime score 6 nil.
We withdrew our 5 academy players at the break and introduced our 5 subs but this did not weaken us in anyway. Asdee had thrown in the towel at this stage and a visit to the shop on the way home was the only thing on their minds. Padraig completed his hat trick and everyone was lin-ing up to get on the score-
sheet at this stage. Goals from Darragh o Sullivan 2 ,Conor Standen 1,Daniel

U11’s Penalty Shootout lot-tery. Killorglin As had no luck on a day where they went out of the Kerry Cup against a very good Park team on pen-alties.
Park started the better test-ing Killorglin keeper from long range but on this occa-sion unable to beat Alex. Then Killorglin responded when Eoin & Jack O C linked up and drew a fine save out of a very impressive Park keeper.
After that it was a game played in midfield with nei-ther team getting on top and Killian Burke, Sean Corcoran & Ronan Moriarty holding the backline.
Within five minutes of the restart The Park raced into a 2 goal lead but
Killorglin with 15 goals in 2 games showed why they are league leaders and Padraig Purcell pegged one back for Killorglin following great work by Daragh.
A period of great Killorglin pressure followed and the home team were sure they should have been awarded a penalty. Alas only a free kick followed. But the equaliser was just around the corner as Daragh Purcell went on a Messi like run and squeezed the ball home
Then the game went to extra time & only one chance fell to Padraig Purcell who beat the keeper but not the post.
The dreaded penalty shoot out followed with Park tak-ing and scoring the first and raced into a 3 – 0 lead in the
shoot out. The Park only needed one more and that came about with their fifth kick
All players where impressive with Eoin Clifford & Daragh Purcell stand out of a great team display. Team: Alex O Connor, Sean Cor-coran, Roan Moriarty, Ronan O Shea, Killian Burke, Eoin Clifford, Jack O Leary, Jack O Connor & Dylan O Neill. Subs: Jack Evans, Conor Burke, Mar-tin Foley, Gerard Hassett,

Chances Go A Begging
Killarney Celtic U15 B 2 – 1 Killorglin B
Once again lady luck deserted the brave lads last Saturday lunchtime in Killarney Celtic as they lost out on a cup run their performance deserved.
All the goals came in the 2nd half but Killorglin left it too late to snatch extra time. Playing with the wind in the first half they failed to create any clear cut chances but that changed in the second half.
Two defensive errors saw Celtic creep into a 2 goal lead they did not deserve and the impressive Aaron McCarthy reduced that ar-rears with 15 minutes left. Padraig O’Brien was making great strides attacking and Aaron Foley also came close. Graham Griffin as centre half was having a stormer keeping out Celtic but try as they did the deserved equaliser failed to materialise.
Jake Courtney, Graham Griffin, Thomas Etherington, Tadhg McCarthy, Sean O’Dea, Gavin McKenna, Aaron Foley, Cian O’Sullivan,
Andre O’Sullivan, Padraig O’Brien, Neil Cronin, Subs – Frank Stephens, Aidan O’Sullivan, Aaron McCarthy, Shane Cahill.
