Welcome you to kielce – my home town!
Kielce is not very big but charming city.
Above all, there are beautiful and one of
the oldest mountains. I would like to prestent you places of interest in
Kielce.
Kadzielnia
According to the legends of Kadzielnia was a place of pagan worship of the
altar used to sacrifice. It is difficult to substantiate this thesis, it is known
only to the fact that even in the sixteenth century, the hill looked after the Kielce collegiate church, which was designed to include "stripping" pagan
power.
Kadzielnia, built of limestone Upper Devonian has a height of 295 m above sea The current excavation (previously
there were quarries) forming a complete groundwater Emerald Lake. Since 1962 there has been a nature
reserve Kadzielnia. Discovered several small caves here.
In 2010, the amphitheater at Kadzielnia was completele rebuilt. A new stage was built along with dressing rooms and technical rooms. Roof has been
fitted: the stage and the movable roof over the audience. These are also
benches for spectators. Currently the amphitheater is for 5.5 thousand
people.
Karczówka
The church is located on the top of Karczówka. Charles Borromeo,
establishedto the monastery of St. Bernard. The founder of the
monastery was bishop of Krakow Marcin Szyszkowski.
Outbuildings were built from the east side , fenced by a wall with towers and gates located in the middle. In 1864 the Bernardine monastery was dissolved by the
tsarist authorities. Since 1957 the monastery Pallottines care of
priests.
Karczówka is located southwest of the city center. Was attached to Kielce in 1930 and includes at least the area of the former
village Czarnów former monastery (known colloquially
Podkarczówka).
Wietrznia
The Zbigniew Rubinowski inanimate nature reserve of
Wietrznia wasestablished in 1999. Pastical protection has been given
to the remains of Wietrznia Hill (312 m above sea level).
Within the reserve there are precious geological exposures:
tectonic phenomena and formsmineralization wire
Ślichowice
The fundamental objective of the reserve is to protect it is
geological resources.
During exploitation works hearily folded rock layers home been
exposes.
Telegraf
Telegraph ski slope is on the northern slope of the highest hill in the administrative borders of
the Kielce city (406 m). It is extremely attractive because of its proximity to the city center.
With the new line the lift capacity will increase to 2400 people/ hour (from the
current 1,000 people/ hour). In the winter season the slope is artificially
snowed , groomed and well lit.
This is my favorite place in Kielce;) This is beautiful!
So I going to I finish my story about the most beautiful mountains in the
