The Bakersfield City School District is pleased to announce our summer feeding program which will begin on June 9, 2014. Thanks to a federally funded program, summer meals will be served free to all children ages 2-18 years of age and under the times and places listed below. Enrollment in summer school is not required. Meals are not restricted to persons living in the area of the serving site; children from all areas and school districts are welcome. Federal regulations state that food served to participating children cannot be given to or shared with anyone. Proof of age may be required. However, persons 19 years of age or older may purchase a meal at a nominal cost.

El Distrito Escolar de la Ciudad de Bakersfield se complace en anunciar su programa de alimentación de verano el cual dará

principio el 9 de Junio del 2014. Gracias a un programa financiado con fondos federales, las comidas de verano se servirán

gratis a todos los niños de 2 - 18 años de edad en las fechas y en el horario anotados a continuación. No es un requisito estar

inscrito en la escuela de verano. Las comidas no están limitadas al área de asistencia de la escuela donde se sirve la comida;

los niños de todas las áreas y distritos escolares son bienvenidos. Las reglas federales estipulan que los alimentos que se

sirven a los niños participantes no se deben dar o compartir con nadie. Puede requerirse un comprobante de edad. Sin
