My goal is to create a relaxed, pres-sure-free environment for you and your family. I want to capture you at your most natural and spontaneous. As the mom of a busy second grader, I under-stand how stressful photography can be, and I do everything I can to make the experience fun and carefree. I work almost 100% with natural light, in natu-ral settings where you can relax, play, and forget I’m there. I’ll be snapping away freely, capturing eyes, feet, laugh-ter, love, silliness, and pure joy.

I can understand how important pa-tience is when creating and capturing memories that will last a life time, and I feel as if I have developed my own style to help capture these moments.

For all regular sessions, payments are due at the time of the shoot. For wedding packages, a 50% event retainer is due immediately to book and hold the date of your event.

If a payment plan has been established, per contract, you will have a down payment, and an equal number of payments until the balance is paid in full. (Which will be determined at the time of contract.)

MAKING A PAYMENT

As soon as you are interested in booking a session, reach out to me! You can shoot me and e-mail or give me a call. At that point we will discuss specifics of what you are looking for with your photo session. We will then solidify the types of photos you are looking for, what locations you are interested in, what times work best for you, pricing, payment, and anything else that you have in mind! I want you to be comfortable working with me, and enjoy the process from start to finish. I'm happy to try new ideas and concepts!

BOOKING YOUR SESSION

WHAT

I understand life happens, so if something comes up reschuduling is allowed once with at least 2-business days (48 hours) notice. (Unless of emergency.) If an appointment is cancelled, the client has up to 1 week to reschedule. Rescheduling within 24 hours of your session’s date may incur ad-ditional fees ($25 per occurrence), at the photographer's discretion. While one free rescheduling within the 2-business days notice is allowed, a second rescheduling is considered a cancellation.

Weather can change in a blink of an eye here in Wisconsin. I will wait until approximately 2 hours prior to a session to make the “weather call” for a reschedule. If the weather is not agreeable on the day of the session, I will gladly reschedule to another day but only if the weather is severe.

POLICY REGARDING RESCHEDULING

Your session can take place wherever you feel most comfortable. I can shoot at your favorite park, downtown for a more urban feel, or in other outdoor locations. Since I work almost exclu-sively with natural light, mornings and late afternoons typically work best. A cloudy or foggy day can produce exceptional portraits as well. In order to make the most of our time and avoid dis-tractions, please invite only the people you wish to have photographed or parents/guardians.

LOCATIONS

Approximately 3 weeks following your portrait session, or 1 month following your wedding, I wille-mail you a password to your online proofing gallery. Directly from the online proofing galleryyou will have the option to order prints or products. The online gallery will remain active for 2weeks for portraits and 1 month for weddings. Once full payment is received, your products will beordered. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery of physical goods.

DELIVERY OF PHOTOS

I will begin the editing process after your session. Edits include color-correction, blemish removaland light airbrushing, artistic editing, and some black and white conversions. Within 2 weeks, I willpost a sneak peek on Facebook or my blog. It will take up to 2 weeks (could be longer dependingon the photo session) to complete all the images, at which time I'll e-mail a link to your privategallery, where you can order prints.

ABOUT THE EDITING PROCESS

We will meet at the designated location discussed and we will shoot accordinaly to the timeframewith the photo session you chose. Typically 1-2 hours of shooting time, and it's very casual. I'mnot going to be counting down the seconds while we are there. I don't mind going past the time if Ifeel their is opportunity for a better shot, I normally stop when I feel like we have enough pictures.Being on-location, there may be times when there won't be any buildings to change in so you willhave to change in your car while we are there.

An integral aspect of your experience is what we refer to as the Premiere Ordering Session. Approximately three weeks after your session, and in the comfort of your own home, you will enjoy an evening devoted to celebrating the inspired pieces of art from your amazing day. On this night, you will experience your images for the first time and witness your very own gallery.

TTogether we will explore myriad possibilities for displaying this fine art portraiture on the walls of your home and across on the pages of your couture album. We will even take the time to brain-storm the methods by which you’ll choose to share these images with those you love.

The Premiere Ordering Session also serves as your personal ordering session, and we will be there to guide you through this one-of-a-kind design process. Exclusive pricing and collections are available during your Premiere!
