KFS REPORTING GOAL

KFS Reporting is divided into phases:
• The first phase is to provide FRS Web equivalent reports when KFS goes live on November 4th, 2013.• 36 different reports, along with their drill downs, will be available. Similar to FRS Web,
these reports are grouped by organizational levels (Division, Department, etc.) and at the Account level.
• Subsequent phases will be driven by a Functional Reporting group that is made up of individuals from multiple departments.

There are three key components used in the creation of reports:
• The KFS system has over 800 database tables that are used to store and process financial data.
• A product called IBM DataStage which will access the KFS data and load it into a report-friendly structure.
• A tool called Jasper Reports Server will be used to run reports.
