KEYTROLL ER WirelessRelayAnti-theftDevices Slide 2 Your equipment is: easy to steal + easy to dispose of! Equipment theft rates have reached an all time high, costing construction industry almost $1 billion annually!! Incidents of stolen equipment have increased about 20% every year since 1996! Unlike cars, equipment is relatively easy to unload on the used market--- making it an attractive product to steal Equipment is commonly left on secluded job sites and quick hot wiring or universal ignition keys help thieves move the equipment quickly Slide 3 Equipment theft statistics (by state and age of vehicle) courtesy www.nerusa.com 2005 1. TX 2. CA 3. FL 4. MO 5. SC 6. NC 7. GA 8. TN 9. IN 10. The top 5 types of equipment account for 78% of all losses. Tractor is a broad category, including compact, utility and agricultural tractors. The two key factors in the type of equipment most likely to be stolen are value and mobility - the higher the value of an item and the easier it is to transport, the greater the chance of theft. Slide 5 Theft Compared to Other Risks Theft is by far the largest risk an equipment owner faces---far surpassing: Collision Fire Damage Vandalism Other ----*windstorms, hail, water damage, flood, and earthquakes Theft is not only the most frequent loss, but also the risk that a good risk management program can have the greatest effect on reducing. This means that there is a great difference in the level of risk between an equipment owner that takes certain key theft prevention precautions and one that does nothing to protect his equipment. There are simple steps that equipment owners can take to reduce the likelihood of theft and improve the chances of recovery. Installation of a KEYENABLER is one of the simplest, easiest and cost effective theft prevention you and use to protect your equipment Slide 6 Anti-theft protection for ANY equipment All models work on any make, model construction vehicle Models available in keypad, card or fob configurations Wireless relays for 12 or 24VDC vehicles Slide 7 KEYENABLER Keypad or RFID card wireless relay enabler/logger Available with upgradeable basic keypad Model KN105B Upgradeable to external shock/memory (SM) module or internal (IM) for time stamped event logging, impact, engine and speed sensing, RS232 serial port Model KN105B-SM or KN105B-IM Model KN105B-SM or KN105B-IM Code entry is standard---RFID card reader upgrade is optional Comes with wireless relay or with BOTH wired and wireless relays Optional Piezo Metal keypad for rugged outdoor or high usage applications Slide 8 START-SMART Outdoor rugged sealed metal keypad systems w/wireless relays Available versions: Model SSO-WWL---BOTH wired and wireless relays Operation: 1. KISS or START-SMART device? Easy theft prevention Vehicle cant be hot wired at ignition key Vehicle can NOT be started with another key that works on your vehicle Keeps untrained and unauthorized operators from starting the vehicle (Each operator has is own code/card) (Each operator has is own code/card) NO KEYS!! (Start directly from keypad button) (Start directly from keypad button) Data on usage of vehicle and code/card expiration (optional) Slide 13 Why a wireless relay? 1. Prevents hot wiring theft at ignition key 2. Prevents using a good key if not a good driver 3. Unsuccessful thieves will give up and move on to easier target 4. Easy to install in ignition, starter or fuel pump circuit 5. Multiple wireless relays can be used for higher security and enabled by the same device 6. Can be ordered in both 12 or 24VDC versions 7. Inexpensive theft PREVENTION for all equipment Slide 14 Wireless Relays Can be installed on ANY vehicle! Available with 12 and 24VDC wireless relays Wireless relay installation 1.Wired between ignition circuit and power supply 2.Wired between fuel pump and power supply 3.Wired between starter and power supply 4.Multiple wireless relays can be installed for higher level of security Slide 15 Easy Installation Wireless relay is installed in ignition, starter or fuel pump circuit preventing start of the vehicle unless it is wirelessly enabled by any of our various anti-theft devices. KEYENABLER, START-SMART and KISS models are wired to vehicle power, FOB and Genie units are battery powered and carried in the operators pocket. Slide 16 Eliminate key problems!! Keys can be completely ELIMINATED! 1. Buying system with BOTH wired and wireless relays 2. Buying wireless relay version and replacing key switch with lever switch START button or lever switch will NOT start the vehicle until the wireless relay is first enabled by the keypad! Many pieces of construction equipment can use the SAME key to start the vehiclemany times stolen equipment is not hotwired, simply started with another key that also works with that vehicle. KEYENABLER, START- SMART and KISS units eliminate this easy method of stealing equipment. Slide 17 KEYENABLER Keypad Model KN105B How it works: Keypad is programmed from keypad with programming code---entering 4 digit codes or RFID card (optional) IM or SM models programmed by computer through serial port connection Good code or RFID card is entered--- keypad LEDs show acceptance and START is pressed Wireless signal is sent to wireless relay--- enabling it Engine is started/stopped with: Dual relay model Pressing START/STOP button on keypad Wireless relay only model Turning key or lever switch in place of key Events art time/date stamped (IM or SM models only) for downloading by computer, CYBERKEY or CYBERWIRE wireless radio Available in 12 or 24 volt anti-theft models Slide 18 RFID card reader options Model KNS/H105B RFID card reader options S model Standard card reader H model HID-Prox card reader Use your company ID card to enable the device! * It is recommended you send an RFID card to Keytroller to evaluate to insure it works properly with the model you choose * It is recommended you send an RFID card to Keytroller to evaluate to insure it works properly with the model you choose **RFID card reading is NOT available with flush mounting option **RFID card reading is NOT available with flush mounting option Slide 19 KEYENABLER Keypad Model KN105B-IM OPTIONAL MEMORY IM model has internal real time clock, and serial port for programming/downloading Event data that is recorded TimeDateVehicleOperatorStartStop Hour meter usage Slide 20 KEYENABLER Keypad Model KN105B-IM Downloading + programming IM model: From Keypad From serial port connection to computer From serial port connection to CYBERKEYmemory key From serial port connection to CYBERKEY wireless radio Slide 21 CYBERKEY Quick Data Transfer System for KEYENABLER Handheld Deviceno need for computer connection Includes: Red Box, Blue Box and 1028k key Downloads Logged Data to Memory Chip Upload Clone file to change embedded codes and settings Plugs into PC/laptop 16,000 events recorded Entire fleet downloaded at one time to one key with Blue Box.
