1 Peter 5:1-11
So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elderand a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a
partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed:
2 shepherd the flock of God that is among you,
exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but
willingly, as God would have you; not for shamefulgain, but eagerly; 3 not domineering over those in
your charge, but being examples to the flock. 4 And
when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive
the unfading crown of glory. 5 Likewise, you who areyounger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves,
all of you, with humility toward one another, for God
opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.

John 14:1-7
Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in
God; believe also in me. 2 In my Fathers
house are many rooms. If it were not so,
would I have told you that I go to prepare aplace for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a
place for you, I will come again and will take
you to myself, that where I am you may be
also. 4 And you know the way to where I amgoing. 5 Thomas said to him, Lord, we do
not know where you are going. How can we
know the way? 6 Jesus said to him, I am
the way, and the truth, and the life. No one

I. Focus on the

Romans 8:18-2318 For I consider that the sufferings of this
present time are not worth comparing with
the glory that is to be revealed to us. 19 Forthe creation waits with eager longing for the
revealing of the sons of God.

20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him (Christ) who
subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation
itself will be set free from its bondage to
corruption and obtain the freedom of theglory of the children of God. 22 For we know
that the whole creation has been groaning
together in the pains of childbirth until now.

Joshua 1:5-9
5 No man shall be able to stand before you
all the days of your life. Just as I was withMoses, so I will be with you. I will not leave
you or forsake you. 6 Be strong and
courageous, for you shall cause this people
to inherit the land that I swore to their fathers
to give them.

7 Only be strong and very courageous, being
careful to do according to all the law thatMoses my servant commanded you. Do not
turn from it to the right hand or to the left,
that you may have good success wherever
you go. 8This Book of the Law shall notdepart from your mouth, but you shall
meditate on it day and night, so that you may
be careful to do according to all that is
written in it.

1 Timothy 4:12-1612 Let no one despise you for your youth,
but set the believers an example in speech,
in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. 13 Until
I come, devote yourself to the public reading
of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching.

Ephesians 3:7-21
7 Of this gospel I was made a minister
according to the gift of Gods grace, which
was given me by the working of his power. 8
To me, though I am the very least of all thesaints, this grace was given, to preach to the
Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in
God who created all things, 10 so that
through the church the manifold wisdom ofGod might now be made known to the rulers

with confidence through our faith in him. 13So I ask you not to lose heart over what I am
suffering for you, which is your glory.
