important outcrop localities and wells, and (3) published references to

all cited outcrop areas and some wells. On the base map, wells are

indicated by a dot and outcrops by an X; locations of all are provided by

at least township and range.

These data and the map are" intended to facilitate regional stratigraphic

analyses of the Mississippian sedimentary rocks of the Rocky Mountains,

Cordilleran, and Basin-and-lJange provinces.
