Dr. Al Mutlaq brings a mixture of private and public sectors experiences that set the ground for leading her consultancy and training services on developing people and developing organizations. Dr. Lulwa is an international HR and Manage-ment Consultant, Speaker and Trainer.

She has led and worked with international firms on several HR project such as Talent Management & Succession Planning, Competency Development, HR Audit, HR consultan-cy, Job evaluation, TNA, Performance Management, Policy and Procedures manual development, Assessment Centers development, etc. She holds a Ph.D. Education and Human Development, Vanderbilt University, USA and Master of Arts in Vocational Education and Bachelor of Science from Northern Arizona University, USA. She is a Chartered Fellow of Chartered Institute of Personnel Development, UK and certified HR Executive Professional from Michigan Business School, USA and Cranfield University School of Management, UK and a Certified Professional in Human Resources & Compensation. Dr. Lulwa is also certified practitioner in Occupational Testing & Occupational Personality Question-naires (Saville & Holdsworth, UK).

On August 2006, Dr. Al Mutlaq was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration and Oxford Innovation Award from Oxford Association of Management, United Kingdom. On 2007, she was awarded a Professional Excellence Award from Oxford Center for Leadership, United Kingdom.

Dr. Al Mutlaq was also awarded an OXCEL Fellowship from OXFORD Center for Leadership (OXCEL) in 2008. She has a banking experience at one of the leading International Banks; Arab Banking Corporation B.S.C. where she progressed to the role of Senior Vice President Group Head Human Resources & Administration. Her role was at a senior level leading Human Resource Management at both an operational and strategic level. During her employment she has assumed several positions and roles that contributed towards a very successful and rewarding career. She has attended and delivered intensive professional training programs that have provided her with advanced executive knowledge and skills that enhance her contribution and delivery of business results.

Dr. Al Mutlaq is currently the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Bahrain Human Resource Development Fund for Banking & Financial Sector (HRD Fund), Ex. Vice Chairman, Women Empowerment Committee at the Supreme Council for Women, Director of Development & Studies, Bahrain

Management Society, a life member of the Bahrain Society for Training and Development and Head of the Training, Human Resource Development and Education Committee of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

Currently, she is a member of Board in the High Council of Vocational Training and Member of the Vocational Evaluation Committee at the Quality Assurance Authority for Training and Education and National Qualifications.

Throughout the years, Dr. Al Mutlaq has been elected to work on several Boards of Directors and served as President & Chairman of Board of Directors and/or Board Member. These professional societies include the Arabian Society for Human Resource Management (ASHRM) based in ARAMCO, Saudi Arabia, the Bahrain Management Society “BMS”, Bahrain Society of Owners of Private Institutes “BSOPTIs”, Bahrain Small and Medium Enterprises Society “BSMEs” and Bahrain National Charter Society (Meethaq).

These roles provided Dr. Al Mutlaq with the opportunity to represent different entities as a keynote speaker, presenter, panelist and chairman in several local, regional and interna-tional Human Resources, management and Women Manage-ment conferences.
