Since it’s inception in 2002, the Tri-State Arsenal has emerged as the Mid-Atlantic Region’s premiere baseball program and a national powerhouse, winning hundreds of tournaments and garnering numerous National Championships, while competing against many of the top teams in the country.

The Arsenal Organization prides itself in its unique approach to coaching. We pro-vide an environment that enhances and encourages the development of skills necessary to be successful in the game of baseball, as well as life. At the same time, it’s important to us that the players enjoy the entire process.

The Tri-State Arsenal is like no other baseball experience in the Northeast. Thanks to the continued success of the Arsenal graduates in their performance at the College and Professional levels, the Arsenal has earned a reputation as an organization that grooms its players for continued success in the game of baseball.

Hundreds of Arsenal graduates have gone on to college and professional baseball. More importantly, players have learned how to set and achieve other important goals in their lives.

“I can only say good things about the programs you run because of your knowledge of the game of baseball. The amount of people you know and learn from and how you forward their information to your kids is unbelievable. The camp you ran where the college coaches came was one of the best oppurtunities I’ve had so far in my baseball career. Bobby’s instructional style is on the same line as yours. He creates a fantastic relationship with each player making learning much easier. The college coaches and pro scouts that come into the Hit Doctor are so informativeand willing to teach each kids what they need to make it to the big time.”

- Kevin Toolan - (Arsenal player) - West Virginia University

“Let me thank you and the entire Arsenal staff for the outstanding job you have done working with my son over the last couple years. You have so much to offer an aspiring baseball player. Whether it be the PDA program, Super 17 or your college coach camps, you can’t find a better source of oppurtunities if you are serious about the game. You and Bob have done so much to give our son a chance to grow and showcase his talents that he would have never gotten without your guidance. Quinton has a passion for baseball and we are thankful he has found a home with the Arsenal.”

- Bob Miller (father of Quinton Miller) - Pittsburg Pirates

“The Arsenal progran as a whole is the best training program in South Jersey for serious baseball players. The ”on-field” coaching is so far above the rest of the pack it made a tremendous impact on my son’s approach and love for the game. The education my son has recieved over his past 5-years has been the reason that he will be playing Division 1 baseball next spring.”

- Dan Arnold (father of Brett Arnold) - Elon

“I really do appreciate your enthusiasm for the game and your drive to continue to learn how to help players develop. Bob was great working with Marc and trying to help me relax during the recruiting process. It would be fun to have another 10 year old to bring up through the program as I am sure it is only getting better with time. It almost makes me want to adopt a child just so I can go through the experience again.”

- Jim Terranova (father of Marc Terranova) - Richmond

“I would like to thank you for the time and effort you have put into my son and all the boys that were involved with the Arsenal team. You and your son Bob are two of the top instructors and teachers of the game of baseball. My son Frank looks forward to playing with you and Bobby before every game and practice. He knows he is going to become a better player that day. I would recommend your Arsenal team and you and Bob as coaches and teachers to anyonewho is serious about the game of baseball.”

- Frank Florio (father of Frank Florio) - Stetson

“My son has been involved with the you and your son since he was 10 years old. The instruction, attention to detail and over all teaching knowledge of Joe and Bobby Barth as well as the entire staff has helped my son develop his game both offensively and defensively to a high level of play. Playing for the Arsenal at the Junior Olympic Games in 2004 as well as the Super 17 program in 2005 was baseball at a very high level and will be an experience that my son and myself will never forget.”

- Dan Goetz (father of Nick Goetz) - Arcadia

With the Tri-State Arsenal most of our goals are long-term. We want to produce the best highschool players in the Delaware Valley, players who are capable of going on and playing college or professional ball. To that end it is imperative that each team’s schedule raise the bar and challenge the team to perform at a higher level. We are not interested in piling up a glossy record against a lot of cupcakes or playing in a lot of weak tournaments so that we can win a few more meaningless trophies.

To ensure that every team and every player be forced to improve during the season, we follow certain scheduling guidelines:

1) The Arsenal attempts to have every team play in the toughest tournaments they can compete in. If an 11U team is winning a lot of local 11U tournaments, then

we move them up into 12u tournaments.

2) Our non-tournament schedule is against any good team that will play us. We do not care what age as long as the opponent will offer us stiff competition. This is the opposite of what most competitors do. We want to play

good teams!

3) Since the Tri-State Arsenal fields some of the best teams and best pitchers in the Eastern United States, our scheduled intra-organization games are often where we face the strongest pitchers. Our Arsenal scrimmages and “Arsenal weekends” are some of the wildest, most challenging ballgames of the year. They also allow the Arsenal coaches to inject many valuable

teaching moments.

4) Past success has brought tremendous national recogni-tion to Tri-State Arsenal and thus provides the organi-zation bids to all the major tournaments in the country. When our teams are ready, National Tournaments are

available at every level.

At every age Tri-State Arsenal teams have a chance to compete in the best tournaments for their age levels. Some of the tournaments our teams frequent are:

• USSSA events• TSE• Ripken’s• Triple Crown• Sports at the Beach• Baseball Heaven• Cooperstown Dreams Park• Diamond Nation• ECTB• AAU

Many of our teams choose to do special event tourna-ments in addition to their regular schedule:

• Las Vegas USSSA • Omaha College World Series Tournament• Disney USSSA National Invitationals • Myrtle Beach NITs• Texas Shootouts• Cooperstown Dreams Park• Puerto Rico Holiday Tournaments

When the players turn U14 our attention turns to tourna-ments that will showcase our players to college and pro scouts. Tri-State Arsenal has automatic bids to many of the showcase events that most teams will tell you are impossible to get into. Some of the events we participate in :

• Impact Games • Perfect Games World Series• USSSA Elite 32• Perfect Game Underclass WWBA, Ft. Myers,Florida• USSSA ABR Underclass World Series • Perfect Game Upperclass WWBA, Jupiter, Florida• USSSA ABR Upperclass World Series • Blue Chip Showcase Tournament• Perfect Game WWBA Qualifiers • Cooperstown Dreams Park• AAU Nationals • CABA World Series

Arsenal has won over 20 National Championships since 2004!7
