Kevin McCasky has many hobbies but one of his favorites is bird watching. He enjoys watching Bald Eagles and many other species as well. If you are going to go bird watching, you need the right gear. Here are some important pieces to have.

Binoculars

If you are going to be able to spot birds that are far away you are going to need a good set of binoculars. There are some that are designed specifically for bird watching, but you can choose the ones you like best and use them.

Identification Guide

It may not be enough to just see birds; you will also want to know what kind they are. If you have an identification guide you can see what kind of birds are surrounding your home or neighborhood.

Feeders

Not all birds will visit your yard and it is a good idea to set up some bird feeders to attract different species of birds. Different species eat different kinds of food so do your research so you know what to put out to attract the birds you want to watch
