Minister Phyllis Webb
Founder
In order for us to serve each other in the body of Christ, we are given spiritual gifts to use in our God–given assignment. Serving others can be hard work, but it can also be very rewarding. Did you know that when we share the Gospel of Christ with others, the Bible says that the word of God refreshes the soul of those that hear it? Psalm 19:7 NIV Likewise, when we give generously of our time and financial resources to minister to the poor, we enrich the lives of those that are in need. By enriching the lives of others, we are ourselves enriched. Proverbs 11:24 Being an active member in the body of Christ takes commitment to the work of God, determination to succeed and the ability to persevere. We spend hours, days and even weeks in our preparation to serve. But when we do our work well and complete our God–given assignment, the Bible says that God himself will in turn reward us with spiritual blessings and extend to us a time of refreshing! Proverbs 11:25 NIV So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9 NLT Be encouraged. God will refresh you, right when you need it most!
Refresh Others & You Will Be Refreshed!

Angel Tree Outreach ▪ Another Success ▪ Because of You! We are so inspired by the financial donations contributed by each of you who helped make the 2015 Kerygma Today Ministries Angel Tree Outreach so impactful!
After such a great experience last year, it was an easy choice to select Sky Zone once again for the Angel Tree Outreach. The event was held in December at the indoor trampoline park. Upon arriving, the children of incarcerated mothers and their caregivers were greeted by a host of Kerygma Today Ministry volunteers. To start the day, Sky Zone’s Christmas tree was the perfect backdrop for lots of holiday photos. Everyone then moved to the private party room, which was decorated with holiday cheer and where pizza and cupcakes were served later. Minister Webb welcomed every-one, and introduced the board members, volunteers and supporters who helped make the event possible. Minister Webb also introduced a former incarcerated mother who shared her personal and heartwarming testimony of how the ministry has impacted her life. The former inmate shared that she never felt loved, and later made wrong choices that resulted in her incar-ceration. But that’s where she discovered the love of Christ through Minster Webb’s Bible study, and her life has since turned around. She explained, “We don’t feel special, we don’t feel loved; we are broken women in there and for someone to take time out of their day to tell us God loves you - you’re somebody. It touched my heart.”
Afterwards, the children’s eyes were bright with excitement as they opened their gifts, specifically selected for each child. You could sense the appreciation of each child, and you knew they loved their gifts. They were happy and energized and ready to have fun on the trampolines. They jumped for what seemed like hours in their bright orange socks! The generosity of every donor is the fabric that creates the care and love, which makes the Angel Tree Outreach possible. To every donor, we say Thank You! “And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.” Matthew 10:42 NIV

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month
Our Mission & Vision PREACHING & TEACHING MINISTRY
Our mission is to reach the people of God on various levels of their Christian walk, empowering them to discover God’s promises, receive power, walk in authority, and apply biblical truths to daily living through practical application. Purpose. To teach the people of God to apply the word of God to everyday life. Ephesians 4:12 REAL TALK
Bible study and prayer in a structured but casual environment, where women can express, relate, and heal while being coached through the word of God. Purpose. To break bondages, promote healing and restoration. Matthew 11:28-30 CRISIS INTERVENTION CENTER
A safe haven for women and their children that are victims of abuse, neglect,
or crisis. A crisis hotline will be staffed by a team of certified counselors.
Purpose. To reach women in need, providing them food, shelter, protection,
and biblical counsel. Ephesians 2:10
During the month of April, in honor of National Child
Abuse Prevention Month, people across the country
come together to raise awareness about child abuse
and neglect prevention. We can each play a part in
promoting the social and emotional well-being of
women and children in our communities.
This month and throughout the year, we want to
encourage all individuals and organizations to play a role in
making the Houston Metro area and surrounding areas a better place for
women and children. Many parents lack the skills and resources to effectively parent
their children. At Kerygma Today Ministries, we are working to provide both spiritual
and practical support to women in crisis. Connecting with women to share the love of
Christ helps create safe and supportive relationships and environments for all children.
