• Design and implement agreed strategy, systems, controls and programs that support The achievement of these objectives.

• Attends all the meetings related to the project(s) under his design management• Closely monitor the work progress and report to the “Top management”

for necessary advice/action (as needed) Ensure “correctness/completeness” of the Consultant(s) payment applications, and recommend further action

• Acquaint himself thoroughly with the Contract Documents, and keep updated copy of the same, with necessary records

• Closely monitor the “performance/abidance” of the Consultants and recommend action (when necessary)

• Closely monitor all Submittals, Variation Requests and Site Instruction, and make suitable amendments to ensure soft cost budget(s) are maintained

• Manage the performance and compliance of the Consultants, according to the Scope of Services and Contractual Obligations and Standards

JOB RESPOSBILITY

• Closely monitor deliverables program, and make recommendation in areas of slippage• Ensure prompt presentation of material submittals by Consultants;

make approval recommendation • Follow‐up with, Consultants, to ensure that all permit approvals are obtained for

the smooth execution of the works, and to avoid delay to the program. • Coordinate and work very closely with different departments who have

a direct/indirect link to the project(s), such as Development, Construction,Marketing and Commercial.

• Advice and assist Director, Design on any poor performance remedial action, review of any claims, variation orders and program issues for further action or recommendationto higher management

• Plan, lead and monitor the assigned project(s) to ensure that the design is delivered within agreed time, cost and specification

• Checking Consultants payment certificates• Oversee the timely submittal of all Design materials and especially those of final appearance
