Day 1

ArrivalArrival at Cochin International Airport. Check – in to a hotel. Kochi, often knownas the Queen of the Arabian Sea, is believed to be the finest natural harbour inthe world. The pretty city was built initially by the Portuguese, then Dutch andlater the British, shoulder to shoulder with the Kochi Maharajas. The result ofthese cultural interfaces is seen in the remains of the Indo-European architecturehere. Overnight stay at the hotel.



Day 2

KochiEnjoy the day with local sightseeing of Kochi. Places of interest include St. FrancisChurch, Dutch Palace (closed on Fridays), Jewish Synagogue (closed on Fridays andSaturdays) etc. Also, you can have glimpses of Chinese fishing nets and stroll throughthe fragrant streets of the spice market. Overnight stay at the hotel.



Day 3

Transfer to Munnar (140kms / 4.5 hours)Departure to Munnar. On arrival, check – in to a hotel. Munnar is one of the finesthill stations in the Western Ghats renowned for tranquil settings and serene spots.Tea plantations, forest reserves, hills, winding roads, all add to the charm ofthe beautiful Munnar. Places of interest include the famous Iravikulam NationalPark and Tea Museum. Overnight stay at the hotel.



Day 4

MunnarSpend the day with local sightseeing in Munnar. Places of interest include MattupettyDam, Kundala Lakes, Echo point, Tea Plantation etc. Overnight stay at the hotel.



Day 5

Transfer to Thekkady (112 kms / 3.5hours)Off to Thekkady by road. On arrival, check – in to a hotel. Thekkady is home tothe Periyar National Park which is also famous as a Tiger reserve. The park encompasses26 sq. kms of area and has a cool and comfortable climate. There is an artificiallake on which you can take a boat ride to have glimpses of wild life on both thesides. You can also go for trekking and mountain walks or visit spice plantations.Overnight at the hotel.



Day 6

Transfer to Kumarakom (122 kms / 3 hours)Off to Kumarakom in the morning. Check – in to a hotel. After noon, you can paya visit to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary which is home to some of the most astonishingmigratory birds. Overnight in the hotel.



Day 7

HouseboatCheck – in to a house boat at 12:00 hrs from Kumarakom. Enjoy the mystic Keralabackwaters, which also offer glimpses of the rich flora and fauna of village life.Overnight in the houseboat.



Day 8

Transfer to Kovalam (176 kms / 5 hours)Cruise through the canal to reach jetty in the morning. Check – out at 9:00 AM.Departure to Kovalam near Trivandrum. On arrival, check – in to a hotel. Overnightin the hotel.



Day 9TrivandrumSpend the day with the local sightseeing of the city of Trivandrum. Places of interestinclude the Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Napier Museum, Kanakakkunnu Palace and ArtGallery.Overnight at the hotel.



Day 10DepartureYou will be dropped at the Trivandrum International Airport for onward journey.End of the tour.
