Exam1ne the unit for any poss1bility of shipping damage. If your unit is damaged or fa ils to operate. notify your dealer immediately. If your unit was sh1pped to you di - rectly. not i fy the sh ipping co mpany without delay. Only the co nsignee (the person or company receiving the unit) can file a claim against the carrier for shipping damage. We recommend that you retain the original carton and pack1 ng materials for use should you t ra nsport or ship the unit in the future. INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS (a) Avo1d focat1ons subject to direct sunlight. (b) Avo1d h1gh or low temperature extremes. (c) Keep the unit away from heat radiatmg sources. (d) Choose a location that is re lat ively free of vibrat ion or excess1ve dust . (e) Make sure power is off before making any system con- nections. (f) Always place the un1 t horizontally.
