• A nationwide survey produced by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to monitor the six health-risk behaviors of youth:– Physical activity– Dietary behaviors– Tobacco use– Alcohol and other drug use– Behaviors that contribute to unintentional
injuries and violence (including suicide)– Sexual risk behaviors
• Data is collected every other year, during the odd numbered years, in grades 6-8 and 9-12
