PRESIDENT

STACEY VREM

President Vrem read a note stating Paul George is having some health issues with his back so bad, he could hardly walk. Hope Paul gets better soon.

There is nothing to report on the Fab-ric Runway. Stacey hopes he can still have the fabric delivered to the farm in March

It was mentioned about having our meetings ever other month instead of once a month. Reagan said if it is changed the by-laws would also have to be changed. Subject was tabled for now.

Asked for volunteers for Old Dover Days. the Club picnics, and someone to volunteer for Field Chair. If you would like to help with any of these vital and important activities contact Stacey Vrem or Regan Paquette.

TO These Fine January Flyers

MARK HOLLOWAY

BILL KENNEDY

The two pictures above are Buddy Scott showing his Christmas present a little quad copter. It is about three inches big, really cute and fun to watch it fly. Thanks Buddy!

Here is an expression I used to hear a lot.

WHEN IN TROUBLE WHEN IN DOUBT RUN IN CIRCLES, JUMP AND SHOUT

Do You Know Of Any Other Solution?

Okay here is a question, my fellow flyers. How many of you are in compliance with AMA safety code rule Number 6 ?

6. I will not fly my Model Aircraft unless it is identified with my name and address, or AMA number, in-side or affixed to the outside of the model aircraft. This does not apply to model aircraft flown indoors.

If you should lose your aircraft dur-ing flight without this little bit of information, it may cause you some problems with AMA’s insurance if it has caused damage to life or property. So Let’s Be Careful Out There!

I have several of those little AMA signs to be used for just the infor-mation that AMA wants inside your aircraft. Let me know if you want or need them.

Future Sale: I am planning to sell many of my model airplanes that I no longer fly. All the airplanes are built from kits with the exception of two that are ARF’s, I need to determine a fair price that will be a lot less than the airplane is worth but not a give away.

I will from time to time list the airplanes and their price. If you are interested, please let me know by e-mail for a look see, either at my home or the flying field. STU

MR MULLIGAN MR MULLIGAN A RACER THAT WON BOTH THE THOMPSON and

the BENDEX TROPHIES in 1937. Yours truly was ten years old.

Reminder Mark Your Calendars

The KCAM 2014 Awards Din-ner is scheduled for April 25, 2014. Rudy will be making ad-vance arrangements with the Modern Maturity Center, and Sam will handling the award plaques. Thanks. Rudy and Sam. Hope all who have ski equipped airplanes have had the oppor-tunity to try them out on Snow Days which we have experi-enced a lot of! That’s all for now. Stay safe and warm.
