Imagination and book reflection
Read aloud the words on the page again,
‘Beegu was not supposed to be here. She was lost.’
Can you try to imagine the world where Beegu comes from?
· What do you think it would look like?
· What would the sky look like? What would the landscape be like?
· Do you think Beegu would blend into her environment or stand out as she does on Earth? Why?
· What might you see on her planet? What might you hear? What colours would there be?
Draw Beegu’s home in your blue book. Maybe other people in your family want to draw what they imagine too. Remember, everyone has their own ideas and imagines things their own way. This is a good thing!
Once you have drawn your picture, share your drawings with someone else if you can, or talk about what you have drawn with someone else: what is similar about the drawings? What is different?
