Kalkin is a Young Innovative Company start-up, which specializes in the digitalization of outdoor sports. We originate, design and create innovative new digital solutions for sport and recreational tourism.

The start-up was originally formed with the aim of designing multimedia GPS, connected to realistic 3D-mapping for outdoor sports and leisure activities.

Over time, we won over our partners and colleagues with our first digital creations. Following some development, we found that our applications were capable of addressing numerous issues facing outdoor tourism promotion.

So Kalkin became a young innovative enterprise specialized in the digitalization of outdoor sports whose goal is to connect sportspeople with the environment and theiractivities.

Today we are able to design a complete digital environmentto bring context to a terrain’s digital operations and to specific users.

Kalkin benefits from a dynamic multi-discipline team that brings together sports and tourism engineers, passionate and methodical software engineers, as well as creative graphic artists and modelers.

As we are aware that this blend of knowledge and competencies can’t meet every need, we constantlybuild strong links with technical and commercial partners in order to achieve top quality results.

This environment also enables our start-up to bringcontext to our creations, to think beyond simple design and to address all aspects of an issue.

In fact, at Kalkin everything is a challenge : creativity vs. technology, functionality vs. sensory innovation, content vs. form, Apple vs. Android!

Our efforts are focused on achieving cohesion and revealing the tip of the iceberg in order to deliver simple, stand-alone, intuitive and key solutions forour clients.

We use this radical new perspective on sports practices and new technologies to sharpen our critical thinking. This allows us to challenge ourselves and to continually strive to realize this wide overriding structure that is the user experience!
