KeePass

Nobody needs to cram their brain with a bunch of random letters, numbers,

and symbols or worse, write down every single username and password

they possess.

How about one password for everything as a solution.

Go to the Internet and enter the URL http://keepass.info/

Follow these instructions and download KeePass.

I choose the top download under Classic Edition

Click Next. Accept the Open Source Agreement. Click Next.

I browsed to a USB flash drive. I clicked on Create a desktop icon. Click Next

Click Next.

Click Install.

Be sure to place a check mark next to

Launch KeePass. Click Finish.

This is the main window. Click File and New.

Enter a master password, click OK. Repeat the password, click OK.

This is the last password you will ever have to memorize.

Click Edit and Add Entry. In the Add Entry window choose which group. Type in a Title,

an Username, a password then repeat

it. Enter the URL and under notes I like

to enter the answer to my security

question.

This button toggles between

showing the password or

hiding it.

This button generates a secure

password for when you open a

new account or change an old

password.

When you click this button,

you can choose different options

for randomly generating a

password.

Click Generate and Accept.

Here is my new entry. Highlight it in the right pane. Right-click on it and click Open

URL’s and you will go to yahoo home page. Click Sign-In. Open KeePass and right-click

the entry and click Copy User Name. Paste it into yahoo. Right-click and click Copy

Password then Paste into yahoo. You have 4 seconds to Copy and Paste.

Be sure to click the lock when finished or just close the window.
