I still remember the days in the year 2001, when we had first thought of venturing into education. As this was a totally new field for us, the only way to learn was to become students once again. Thus started a learning process of finding what the education precessing country was, is and should be. And after studying and contemplating various education systems both in India and abroad, emerged an education model to which we gave a name - “KCM - a pathway to success”.

Why a world school ? My belief about being world is to study the cultures of various societies to pick up good aspects and imbibing them in ours & at least this is the approach we have here at KCMWS where teachers and students from diverse culture compliment this very approach.

The other aspects that we lay a strong emphasis upon are strong Human and Social Values. One has to be compassionate and maintain receptivity and respect for different opinions. After all, these are the pivotal traits that can make the world a better place.

The Campus

The Campus is situated in 15 acres of land on and elevated, wooded site along the majestic green fields. It is designed by a young and inquisitive team from ‘Evolve Design Studio’. The campus is built on the ethos of ECO- EFFECTIVENESS with ever living and ever evolving sustainable architecture, where, the architecture of the building is moulded to respect “nature”, as compared to the prevailing practice of moulding built volumes tooptimize commercial usage, thus giving the campus positive and lively feel. This not only ensures a tranquil environment away from the rush and din of city life, but also offers a magnificent scenic panorama across the fields. We are only 70 kilometers from the Delhi International Airport and fall within the National Capital Region. One needs to travel a mere 5 kilometers from the closest city limits to arrive at the campus gates.

Another noteworthy facet about our campus is its environment friendliness. Something that not only reflects in the landscape but also in our efforts. the most prominent being rain water harvesting, water recycling and an energy efficient and ozone-friendly air conditioning system right within the campus. This initiative has also been extended to the curriculum through the introduction of Environment Sciences as a regular subject. At KCMWS, each classroom has been designed with emphasis on

providing a vibrant and safe learning environment. Each classroom has

been tested by a qualified optician for adequacy of lighting and seating

distance from the boards. The color scheme of classroom is conducive to

learning. Classroom’s spatial geometry is so arranged that the participants

(teachers and kids) can create and re-create their own play learn ground.

Every class room has been converted into a smart class-room having a

smart board, projector & Computer loaded with all the content. The furniture

is built using child friendly material to provide a safe and comfortable

learning experience.

SCIENTIFICALLY DESIGNED CLASSROOMS

Library cum Media Centre

Reading, the sky to success, should be fun and not a chore. Fully

computerized and directed by an experienced professional, the Resource

Centres occupy a central place in the school. An extensive reference and

fiction collection is complemented by e-books and carefully selected

magazines and periodicals.

The e-library is equipped with Wi Fi internet connections to help students

tap into the cyber world of knowledge. The librarians help the students pick

ICT is an integral part of curriculum right from grade 1 and is introduced as a tool to

enrich student knowledge base, helps in problem solving areas, with proper

exposure to practical applications including the internet. All this is available in the

form of a full fledged ICT Lab.

Auditorium

A state of the art Auditorium with a seating capacity of 1200, is a centre of attraction. It is used for various intra & inter school activities and

KCMWS has a sprawling 6 holes golf course. Student from Grades 6-12 can choose golf as their choice of sport. The mission statement of KCMWS Golf Academy is to deliver “a unique golf learning experience” which is a program tailored for each individual student and provides students with one on one instruction. To implement this highly qualified and personalized approach, KCMWS has highly experienced staff that includes not only professionals with extensive coaching backgrounds, but Tour Winners as well.

Our campus accommodation is second to none. Purposefully built residences provide rooms for students. Each room is shared by 4 boarders. A common study room fitted with plasma is provided for recreation. All our accommodation is well furnished and of a very high standard. All rooms have high speed network/internet access. We look after basic cleaning and laundry.

Our House system provides a safe and secure environment that acts as a home away from home. The important pastoral roles played by the house parents, together with additional tutors staying on campus and our wide-ranging support network, provides for every student;s needs, whatever they may be and however they may change over time.

To ensure safety of every child, as per our admission policy, at the time of admission the parent will be asked to fill the “Authorised persons to pick up the child” form. Only persons nominated through this form will be allowed to pick up the child from school. The KCMWS staff will monitor all arrivals and departures, there by maintaining the highest levels of security at all times.
