Swedish professional freeskiers Kaj Zackrisson and

Sverre Liliequist had shitloads of time to kill while

driving across the Rockies searching for the best skiing

around. To pass the time, Sverre mastered the noble art

of crocheting. He’d been on the lookout for the perfect

beanie; one with the right look and feel – that didn’t itch.

Always a trendsetter, he decided to crochet it himself.

His handicraft infected his brother in arms Kaj and soon

an underground cult took off.

Beanies in all shapes and sizes came out of their van

and spread among their friends. The KASK beanie was

soon the coolest thing you could put on your head and

was seen on ski bums and professional skiers throug-

hout the best ski resorts in the world.

What started in the back of a van in 1996, has now

evolved into a successful, growing company based in

Sweden offering unique, cool-looking clothing world

wide. KASK clothing is designed for anyone who requi-

Goggles are one of the most critical pieces of equipment you need when you are in the mountains and can make or break an extreme couloir or a big line in the park. But they are equally important for a great day on the slopes, regardless of what you want to ride, and good days should not be wasted through poor vision.

We have spent countless days testing and improving the fit, lenses, venti-lation and have incorpora-ted the views of our team riders Sverre, Kaj, Wille, Johan and the rest of the Kask friends team. We think they rock, we hope you do too!

MASK 4 IS AN OUTCOME of Kaj & Sverre’s life in the mountains for over 3 decades. Skiing as professionals travelling the world has given them a know-how for what you need to perform on top of your game and enjoy a perfect day.

Mask 4 has a design inspiration from American muscle cars with solid strap outriggers that makes the goggles fit to any helmet or hat. The Mask 4 goggles has an optimized anti fog construction with the muscle car inspired air-intake holes in the frame and in the lens which works in harmony for perfect ventilation.

The frame is smooth and round to fit perfect to the human face with a spherical lens to maximize your vision, the spherical shape also gives minimal optical distortion.

• Anti-scratch and anti-fog treated double lens, the outer lens is made out of polycarbonate that is also good for penetration resistance. The inner lens is made out of cellulose propionate that is the best to keep your vision fog free.

• The lenses prevent harmful UVA, UVB rays up to 400 nm (100 %) assuring the best possible protection.

• Triple layer foam.

• Silicone- ribbed strap for a secure fit.

HOW TO DRESS

Everybody’s different! That´s something we’ve focused on during the years we’ve developed our high-performance Merino base layers. There are simply so many factors that matter. Not only factors like weather, area of usage, and level of activity; but also how you are as a person, whether you’re prone to feeling cold, are hot blooded, or if you sweat easily. It’s about finding the right thing, which is why we’ve developed the Kask Temperature Regulation System that makes it simple to find base layers that fit every individual and requirement.

Kask Temperature Regulation System is based on colour coding: from blue, which is the lowest weight in grams, to red, which is the highest weight. Generally, you can say that if you´re prone to feeling cold or planning to be in very cold environments, you should look for the orange or pink symbol. If you seldom feel the cold, have an extremely high activity level, or are planning to take a run in the warmer seasons, then you should keep an eye out for the blue or yellow symbol.

A complete selection of eight different styles means you can cater for your technical and design needs perfectly.

We are proud that all Kask socks are now produced with wool from the Shoeller Group. This means that all our socks meet the strict manufacturing criteria required from the bluesign, Öko-Tex and G.O.T.S

Kask socks will also incorporate EXP 4.0 wool treatment which is the first process in the world to achieve the highest environmental and sustainability standards.
