1.Download of KBL-SMARTz Andriod App

KBL-SMARTz Andriod can be download from google play (search KBL-SMARTz ) or can be downloaded from the below link

2. Registration Process

Pre-requisite for registration process:

a) Andriod Mobile device/smartphone (4.0-Ice cream Sandwich & above ) with GPRS enabled (preferable Network 3G/4G/2G)

b) Mobile Number should be registered with Bank for receiving Transaction SMS Alerts

c) The SIM of Registered Mobile number with the Bank where the account is held should be in primary SIM Slot in case of dual SIM Mobile devices.

d) Should have a Valid Debit card

2.1.Registration of KBL-SMARTz:

Step 1:On Successful installation of KBL-SMARTz app ,open the app and you will find the below screen for first time. Click on Continue

Step 2: SMS will be sent from your device to identify your mobile number registered with Bank and for

Mobile device fingerprint

(SMS Carrier charges applicable as per the mobile operator) and below screen is found.

Step 3: Your Mobile number will be automatically displayed as shown below. Confirm the Mobile numberdisplayed by clicking on “Confirm” Button

Step 4: Enter your First Name,Last Name and details as displayed in the screen.Virtual Address can be any combination as you like ( example sun, sun123 etc ) which can be

linked to your account for easy identification of your a/c numberNote:Virtual Address should not have any special character.

Enter the 4 digit password. Enter Secret question ( This secret question is prompted during forgot password option) as shown in above .This password is called App Password. Click Proceed

Step 5: Password entry screen appears. entry the password as typed above

Step 5: On Successful completion of registration,Home screen appears as below

3.Add Bank Account

Step 1: To Add Bank Accounts which are linked to the registered Mobile numbers tap the + ( plus icon) and click on “ADD ACCOUNT” link.

Step 2: List of Banks under UPI network is displayed. Select the Bank where you have account and the mobile number is registered and click Continue

Step 3: Account pertains to the Bank linked to Registered Mobile Number will be displayed as shown below

Click on “Link Your Account” and account will be added successfully.( Note: Select the Account which is linked to Valid Debit Card)Step 4: Added account will be displayed in the home screen as shown below. Now “update Virtual

Address” for the said Account prior to “Set MPIN”

Step 5: User can change the Virtual Address added during Registration process or can continue using “Update” button

4. Set MPIN

Now “Set MPIN” option. (This requires Valid Debit card linked to the Added Account)

In order to have second factor authentication feature, MPIN has to be set prior to initiating fund transfer. This MPIN is used during Balance enquiry,Payment request and Collection Authorization process.

Step 2: Enter the “last 6 digit of the Debit Card,Expiry Date linked to the Selected Account “ and click Submit

Step 3: OTP will be sent to registered Mobile number screen appears, Click Ok

Step 4: Another screen appears with two fields i)to enter the received OTP and ii) to enter MPIN (PIN used for Transactions, MPIN is a 4 digit in our Bank)

Step 5: On Successful validation of Debit Card, OTP user will get “Credentials Updated” screen as below

5.Balance Enquriy:

For Balance enquiry click on “Balance” icon as shown below

b) Then enter “MPIN” which was set earlier (in step 4) and submit

d) User can find the balance for the selected account as shown above

6.Payment/Collection RequestStep 1: For initiating Instant fund transfer Click “Send” icon

Enter the Payee Virtual address or can select from the already added Beneficiary.

→ user can add any Valid Virtual Address,Aadhar number,Account number with IFSC Code,Mobile number with MMID for making payments

Step 2: Enter the MPIN details for making successful fund transfer

Step 3: On Successful MPIN Validation ,pay Request successful Notification is displayed

ii) Collect Request:

Collect request can be initiated from the Collect icon as shown below

Enter the Payer Virtual address or can select from the already added Beneficiary.

Note : On Collect Request from the above user , the other end user to whom request has been raised will get Notification (Screen 2) and displayed in the Home screen ( Screen 1)

7) Collect Authorization

a) Once User click on “Collect Authorisation” displayed in Home Screen, below screen is displayed

b) Click on to get the details of the Requestor, Authoriser can either Accept or Reject the “Collection Request”

d) On Successful MPIN Validation below screen is displayed.

8) Transaction Status: To find the Transaction status done through “KBL-SMARTz” user can use Transaction status menu option and can search between any dates ,

Step 2: User can check the transaction status both “Send Request” and “Collect Request” as shown below

For More details of the Transaction user can click on the respective Transaction

9) ADD BENEFICARY

For adding Beneficiary From below menu select “Add Beneficiary”

b) Add the beneficiary details as shown in the screen and click “Save” button

c) Add the Transfer Type: Under Transfer Type drop down user can select the beneficiary transfer type like Aadhar number, Mobile number,Virtual Address,Account number IFSC

d) Confirm the Transfer Type

e) Beneficiary List can be viewed as below

Added Beneficiary is shown with Pending Status. Click on the same link to Activate the Beneficiary

Click on “Activate” Button to Activate the Beneficiary as shown above and alert will be displayed to proceed for activation → Now Beneficiary will be activated as shown below

10.Scan & Pay

When customer or payer scans a QR CODE using the “Scan & Pay” option, Debit Account selection list will be shown to payer for selecting the debit account . On selection , Payment Request will be created for customer Approval in KBL SMARTz app.Steps to generate QR code for Scan and pay option in KBL Smartz.

Step 1 : QR Code needs to be generated using any QR code generator Portal .ex: https://www.the-qrcode-generator.com/

Step2: Option for QR code for FREE TEXT , URL can be opted seen below.

Create for Text or URL in the following format and paste the content.URL format isupi://pay?pa=<payee/receiver virtual Id>&pn=<payee/receivername>&mc=0000&tid=&tr=&tn=<Transaction remarks>&am=<amount>&cu=INR

<payee/receiver virtual Id> - Payee / receiver Virtual Id ie. Merchant or your virtual Id<payee/receiver name> - Payee / receiver name<Transaction remarks> - Transaction remarks<amount> - Transaction amount (or) payment amount .

or Code will be generated and Same has to be shared / printed .

When customer or payer scans this QR CODE , Debit Account selection list will be shown to payer for selecting the debit account . On selection , Payment Request will be created for customer Approval in KBLSMARTz app.

11. QR Code Generator

User can Create QR Code using the Menu option -”QRCode Generator”

Select the account for which QR code has to be generated and enter the amount and remarks field. Click on “GENERATE” button. QR code will be geneareted as shown below and the same can be shared
