Handheld Capabilities 800MHz/UHF/VHF/
Provides base communications support with secure/non-secure voice connectivity within the state of KS in support of Emergency Management objectives.
JISCC Joint Incident Site Communications Capability
Voice Interoperability: Interconnects disparate voice communications networks/devices used by multiple response agencies at the incident site into a single, wireless interoperable environment.
Reach-back: Provides reach-back support to relevant state and federal NG-related networks and to organizations with incident management responsibilities.
Command Post Integration: Provides on-scene command post services; extends garrison command post functionality to the incident site.
Incident Site Communications: Provides responder to responder communications directly via ultra high frequency (UHF) handheld radios or by relay through a UHF repeater and mast-mounted antenna
IRV Incident Response Vehicle
To provide incident site command and control communications, real-time situational awareness and reachback capabilities in support of an incident commander.
