There are considerable environmental benefits to purchasing a Kanata ECO friendly fleece product, using Repreve® yarn, created by Unifi, a U.S. based producer of polyester and nylon.

Repreve® yarn is made from 100% recycled content. …made responsibly, to make a difference and create a sustainable textile solution.

Post industrial and post consumer waste, including pop bottles (P.E.T.), is ground up and melted into plastic chips from which new fibers are extruded and then spun into yarns. The yarn is 100% recycled which provides huge benefits to the earth and the environment:

where required. The dyes are fully cured and sublimated thus
