What is Fusion Style? FUSION STYLE is a fusion (mixing) of Jump Rope & Dance.

This style was made by Japan team but later it was developed by several Countries like Belgium, Hong Kong, France etc. There are only very few countries in the world who adopt this style. By organizing this we would be counted as 3rd Asian Country after Japan & Hong Kong where apart from the Nationals such events are organized. A fusion style is a standard Double Dutch Freestyle routine performed with the accompaniment of music.

Judging Pattern IDDC 2018

Judging Style for this very Competition is way too different from National Jump Rope Championship organised under the aegis of Jump Rope Federation of India. As here even the score sheets are completely changed as compared to Double Dutch Freestyle. There will be 4 main elements judges are trying to look in every act performed. These events are as follows :-

i) Technical Ability ii) Originality iii) Expressions iv) Choreography

Additionally, Judges are also looking forward for some elements like whether some prohibited act like fire or something which might hurt audience

or using foul language; How many mistakes during act occurred; Was there overtime or not; Was there any dangerous acrobatic movement which may leads to injury to jumper or audience in any case

BATTLE ROUND Only Top four teams (Clubs) will go to Battle Round. In Battle Round there will be 6 Rounds and each team will get only 3 chances & each team will get 3 chances to perform Fusion style on any random music. The X factor of IDDC2018 is that jumpers are performing Battle Round on Random Music. Each Team will perform for 1 minute 10 seconds in each Round. Battle Round will lasts for 7 Minutes.

About Venue KAMANI AUDITORIUM

Kamani Auditorium, a unit of the Bharatiya Kala Kendra Trust, is the most prestigious Theatre Hall of Delhi. The 632 seater Auditorium has been a host to some of the best National and International Theatrical, Dance and Musical Performances. The Auditorium building is an elegant structure with aesthetically designed Public Areas, Main Hall, Green Rooms, etc. The Auditorium is strategically located in the Mandi House area of New Delhi at 1, Copernicus Marg. Mandi House is well known as the cultural hub of the Capital. The Auditorium has excellent acoustics. It is furthermore equipped with a professional quality sound system using JBL Speakers, Crown Amplifiers and a 32 Channel Soundcraft Mixer. The Auditorium also has its own sophisticated stage lighting with a large variety of professional lights such as Pars, Profiles, Victories, etc., which are connected through a Computerized Soft Patching System to a 48 channel, zero 88, Bullfrog Control Panel. The Auditorium has a direct inward dialing telephone system to handle customer queries as well as a mobile communication system to enable interconnection between the stage and the control room. In order to enhance security, the Auditorium has an elaborate CCTV System.
