The Kaka is a native bird from New Zealand,
It is a parrot . It is mostly found by the north and south area in the forest.
Feathers and colour
The feathers are brown and red but their head's are a silver grey colour and under the wings are orange and red.
habitat
They live in the north and south forest and they are mostly found by the north and south forests in the world
They like to live in the north and south forest.
If you find them in the north forest they are called the north forest kaka if you find them in the south forest they are called the south forest kaka.
predators
Kaka predators are falcons and hawks also rats and stoats will eat young Kaka or their eggs. The stoats will kill the female Kaka when they are nesting.
food
Kaka birds like to eat seeds, nectar, insects,wood grubs and scale insects.
