Audit Experience: -Collaborated in the clinical audit for basal cell carcinoma in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Barnet & Chase Farm Hospitals.
-Analysed cases of osteoradionecrosis post radiation, before or after extraction of problematic teeth in cases of cancer patients. Worked in conjunction with the department in Colchester (UK) regarding this audit. Specifically focused on patients’ radiation treatment plan and their follow up treatment. - Completed audit on review of patients on treatment for temporomandibular joint problems; calculated number of patients self discharging in the middle of treatment. Currently taking lectures for Bachelor Dental surgery students pertaining to oral surgery.
▪ Taught oral medicine, oral surgery, and orthodontics to undergraduate students pursuing Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Delivered seminars on various topics in Oral Medicine and used them as a teaching mode in the dental school.
▪ As a Senior House Officer, taught MBBS and BDS students the relationship between medicine and dentistry and the relevance of Diagnostic Oral Science – especially in oncology and genetics.
▪ Instructed bachelor’s-degree students, via mode of anatomical dissection, the anatomy of head and neck along with method of flap raising (important for cancer reconstruction cases).
