Who we are

Our clever team of developers and producers build bespoke web applications, stand-out websites and online services to get your brand noticed and customers interacting with your site, transforming it from so-so to super! We live right in the heart of Brighton, East Sussex. We have grown from a team of two to a team of seven in just a few years. Our aim is to help your business grow too using elegant, functional, robust websites, web applications and online systems. We won’t bamboozle you with Tech speak, preferring to communicate in plain and simple language. The Internet is a powerful window for your brand. Website build

Through a series of workshops and documentation, we’ll work with you on user journey strategy and implementation, structure and architecture development, content strategy development and design. Once this phased process has been completed, we’ll build your website.

CMS Development

Every great website is built around a great CMS, enabling users to edit information and images quickly and efficiently, add customised widgets, create bespoke style sheets and build the site they want.

CRM Integration

You have a business to run. That means you have customers to manage and, if you’ve done things correctly, you have a lot of them! Naturally, you need a customer relationship management (CRM) system to help.

Bond Adapt

Boxharry also have a high level of Adapt configuration technical skills in-house, which, although not designed to replace the services offered by Bond, provide our clients with excellent advice and rapid web deployment post-configuration.

Job board management

Because life's too short to use too many systems! That’s why we have built job posting integration into the CRM workflow, allowing jobs to be posted into the portal through services such as Broadbean, Logic Melon and Recruitive.

The build Or getting it done right

The build process, from design workshops through to go-live tasks, will be managed and implemented by Boxharry. The following items outline the typical tasks involved.

These production tasks will be augmented with regular progress meetings and teleconferences to ensure maximum visibility is provided at all times.

1. Design workshop Go through the application’s requirements and features to agree all aspects of the build before starting

2. Design specification Create a design specification document outlining all agreed functionality

3. Set up development and production sites On the selected hosting platform

4. Deploy management system Used by administrators to carry out their tasks

5. Create user interface and style sheets From the developed designs, tested on the agreed platform specification

6. Create application structure Layout the pages and navigational elements

7. Develop application features Construct and configure the tools which will be used by the application visitors

8. Populate content Insert text and images to complete the site build

9. Testing A multi-phase testing process including systems, browser and user acceptance tests

The Recruit.Agent features Your candidates and potential talent are a valuable part of your recruitment business model and it's only fair they get the treatment they deserve. The Recruit.Agent portal bolts on to your website and instantly gives your job seekers a place where they can control their applications and feed directly into your recruitment processes.

Login and register – Securely access the application, together with profile management form and password change.

Job search – using predictive search fields, skills-based results filters and postcode distance display. The search results will be displayed in both map and list views. Search results can be saved.

CV management – upload a CV, view and update existing CV.

Consultant details – when the candidate is assigned to a consultant the application will display consultant photo and contact details.

Message and activity timeline – displaying messages posted through your CRM. Messages can be responded to by candidate. Any messages posted will be notified to the recipient by email as well as appearing in the portal.

Saved jobs – allowing the candidate to access job data on subsequent visits.

Job alerts – activating the system to automatically send relevant jobs to candidates when they are posted from the CRM.

Job.Tab

Job.Tab is a website plugin that captures candidate data from the heart of an organisation’s online presence. Easily added to any website it will display each client’s latest jobs and invite job seekers to apply there and then. All candidate data will be sent directly to your application tracking service, where you can review all applications and decide who should be invited to begin the recruitment process. Using a simple ‘tear-off-tag’ technology the Job.Tab feature can be added to any website in minutes. Once a job is published, by using a job posting service such as Broadbean or by using the supplied management system, Job.Tab will automatically activate itself on the target website, displaying a tab indicating that vacancies are available. Job seekers can click on the tab and see all current vacancy details. If they think they are suitable for a position they can complete a simple form and post their details back to the agency.

Simple to install

To add Job.Tab to a client’s website has been made as simple as possible. One line of code, sent in an email to the website administrator, can be copied and pasted into the site. That’s all. As soon as jobs are posted the tab will appear on the site. Once all jobs are closed the tab will automatically be removed. No further administrative actions are required.

The tab

The primary call-to-action that begins the job seeker’s user journey is a graphical tab that animates into the browser from the right-hand edge. This tab has a default ‘We’re hiring!’ message, which can be customised to each client’s requirements. The branding, colour scheme and even the shape and imagery can all be changed if required.

Job list

On activating the tab the first displayed screen is a welcome message and a list of jobs. The message itself can be customised as well as the properties for each job in the list. The default properties are:

What does Job.Tab look like?

Job.Tab sits on top of the client’s website and, when activated, slides across the site from the right hand side. From then on user will be able to carry out all their recruitment activities within the ‘second screen’ and, when they’re finished, close it to return to the main website.

Management of build process

From ensuring that we have all the content and input we need to build the application, to making sure all associated suppliers are involved, to keeping everybody updated, we will provide the full development service.

Testing and debugging

Ensure all the features are built to specification and manage the User Acceptance Testing process (the bit where everyone goes through the application and confirms everything is working well).

Go-live process

Publish the new site to the web, including liaising with domain name and SSL (website security) administrators, managing any downtime (providing site users with information of what’s going on) and ensuring the site works perfectly once it’s in place.
