Although JWG never wrote about this, to my knowledge anyway, he did lecture on the transiting Lunar Nodes. And one of the main and very interesting ideas that I learned from this is what he called the 'apparent' versus the 'actual' issues of these transiting Nodes. What he meant is that whatever house and sign of the transiting Nodes is moving through correlates to the 'apparent' evolutionary issues that are linked to the natal Nodal Axis of the Moon, whereas the 'actual' evolutionary issues correlates to the NATAL PLACEMENT of the planets that rule these transiting Nodes. In essence, what is underneath those apparent issues, and why.

I thought it may be interesting for us to explore these ideas fully in this new thread. So for those that are interested in this please let me know.Ok, we can begin our exploration of the transiting Nodes relative to their current positing by House and Sign in a birth chart, and the natal planets that rule those transiting Nodes by their own House and Sign location. This is what JWG called the apparent versus the actual issues in one's life. By actual he meant what is underneath the apparent issues that the transiting Nodes by House and Sign correlate too. The apparent issues are of course just as real as the actual issues: the difference, again, is what is underneath those apparent issues where what is underneath them is what those apparent issues are really about, and why.

Right now all of you reading this can explore this via your own birth charts. Where is the 2 degree transiting N.Node of Capricorn in your chart ? Where is your natal Saturn ? Where is the transiting S.Node of the 2 degree Cancer in your chart, and where is your natal Moon ? Of course the transiting N.Node correlates to the ongoing evolutionary needs of your Soul: the future as experienced in each moment that is symbolized in this transit. And it is those ongoing evolutionary needs of the Soul, it's future, that always interfaces and impacts on the Soul's past where that past is continuously experienced by the transiting S.Node. It is our past, it's actual reality, that conditions how we perceive the present moment, and how that current moment is evolving into the future.

For those of you in the U.S.A simply look into President Obama's chart right now. The transiting N.Node in in his 11th House. This then refers to his natal Saturn in his 12th, which is also conjunct his natal Jupiter. The Saturn is in Capricorn, Jupiter in Aquarius. The transiting S.Node in Cancer in in his 5th, and conjuncting his natal Venus in Cancer in the 5th. His natal Moon of course is in Gemini in his 4th. Simply examine all the current events in the U.S.A. right now as they are symbolized in his chart, his life, so as to graphically understand the dynamics that we are talking about here.

Simple example: the transiting N.Node in Capricorn in his 11th correlates now to the traumatic events embodied in the shooting in Arizona. Yet those immediate events symbolize the core traumas that are occurring with the U.S.A. as a whole is experiencing, and the fracturing within the different groups within that nation as a whole and the reasons for that fracturing within those groups. His natal Saturn is in the 12th with his Jupiter. Thus, what is underneath it for him, what the root issue is, is to try to heal the nation, to strive for a sense of unity in which the various fracturing occurring within the different groups in the nation as a whole can be found. This of course mirrors the past of the nation wherein the past of the U.S.A has been full of those in power being assassinated for political reasons by individuals who represent fractured groups within the nation as a whole. This is the S.Node in his 5th in Cancer now on top of his Venus. And, of course, this implicates his own Soul history in his own prior lives: Abraham Lincoln. This is one of the meanings of his 4th House Gemini Moon: prior live egocentric identities.

You can do the same for your own lives. And, as you get used to this, you can do the same for your clients so as to help them understand more fully what is going on in their own lives, and why.

Looking at the past, when Obama was elected, the nn was in Aquarius in the 12th progressively moving to conjunct his natal Saturn Jupiter. The bulk of his term the nn has been moving through his 11th house in Capricorn which is ruled by Sag. Both point to his natal Saturn Jupiter. This spring the nn will enter the 10th house, which will emphasize the Jupiter function in his chart.

So based on that observation, it's easy to understand that this soul has been faced with the social reality of this country and the various groups that exist within them, and the distorted patriarchal ideologies that some of these groups represent. This whole process started during the nn's move through the 12th house. This was of course about inspired the collective about the possibility of change. He symbolizes, in the collective, a symbol of radical change.

As the nn moved into the 11th house, he has been faced with the challenge of maintaining or creating some sort of unity, community, or cooperation amongst various political groups. As the nn is still in the 11th house, we see the absurd efforts of some of these groups to undo the social reform he has already established.

The actual issue here has been in Saturn itself. This soul holding a great degree of social responsibility, and the imperative for this soul to make decisions based on a higher standard of ethics. He’s naturally faced with the Saturn challenge of social judgment and criticism.

Intuitively, it’s clear that as the nn moves into the 10th house, during the duration of it’s stay in Sag, the emphasis for this soul will be about speaking and making manifest it’s truth- based on natural law, what is truly ethical and right. This comes back to the Saturn in Cap conj Jupiter in Aquarius. He has witnessed and faced himself immense trauma based on the division of various groups whereby elitist divisions became the basis for racial persecution and things like that (Jupiter in Aquarius in the 12th conj Saturn, that Jupiter squaring Neptune, which is the

ruler of Chiron in Pisces conj his sn). This soul is intensely aware of these dynamics and is truly faced with a big responsibility.

So the purpose is to be clear with him self and do what is right. It’s no coincidence that as the campaign for the 2012 elections begin- moving into the 2012 elections themselves, the transiting nodes will be on his natal mc/ic and then squaring his own natal nodes

The small broadcaster has found new opportunity through social media, you tube and the like. We can expect these creative trends to continue. As with all planetary influences, there exists a myriad of possibilities for how things can play out. That’s a lot of highly focused energy. Our response mechanisms are especially peaked. Whether it goes the full distance or not, while Jupiter transits Cancer, that which is in its infancy or inception phase carries greater than average potency, influence, and necessity. Something quite small but timely can quickly mushroom into an abundance track, plus or minus. There’s great wisdom in paying close attention before it gets beyond navigational control. As Jupiter advances into Cancer, it will form a grand trine in the water signs with Saturn in Scorpio, and Neptune and Chiron in Pisces. With some ebb and flow among the key players, this grand trine configuration will continue through to the end of 2013 and resume again for a couple of months in spring of 2014. Powering up again, Saturn end its five month retrograde cycle on July 7. As of July 13, Mars advances into Cancer and joins the group. As with all planetary influences, there exists a myriad of possibilities for how things can play out. The water grand trine of Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune/Chiron holds the potential to create great healing and a completely transformed reality base, but it is also one that can entrench us deeper into our self-destructive patterns.

Saturn has maintained a trine aspect with Neptune and/or Chiron since it first entered Scorpio in October 2012, just before Obama’s re-election. It will continue to engage with this pair through the end of the year and will again meet with Chiron by trine in the spring and summer of 2014. Saturn - the planet of form and function, of reality and its parameters, of authority and its rule – is currently penetrating the deeper realms of the collective consciousness and crystallizing our rapidly transforming reality. Transiting Jupiter brings the grand trine configuration to a peak on July 17 when it will perfect its aspect with both Saturn and Neptune. On this same day, Uranus in Aries stations retrograde. That’s a lot of highly focused energy. Our response mechanisms are especially peaked. It could produce a pivotal few days, especially so through July 20 when Mercury ends retrograde and Mars in Cancer also perfects aspect with both Saturn and Neptune. Mars and Jupiter conjoin just after midnight on July 22. On this day, Venus enters Virgo, the sun enters Leo and a super full moon occurs just barely into Aquarius. The last half of July and the month of August is likely to be especially triggering as first transiting Jupiter and then Mars in Cancer activate the dynamic Uranus/Pluto transit. It is our divine right to be safe, to be nourished, respected, and cared for, to love and to be loved. We must first believe it whole heartedly, and then take it upon ourselves to create it so.

I wanted to add that I read on another website that this will be the first time since 928 BCE that the Water Grand Trine between Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune has occurred in the exact same signs that they will be in during this one. Neptune has formed grand trines with Jupiter and Saturn before but not in the same signs since 928BCE.

The only thing I could find historically about 928 BCE was that King Solomon died and that the tribes of Isreal split into the Kingdom of Israel and the Kingdom of Judah.
