16 countries will take part in the 12th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, being held in Malta next November 15, 19.00 CET. The venue chosen for the show is located in the Marsa Yards, outside Valleta. The contest will be held in the whole country, instead of being held in only one city.

Moira Deila, with a big experience in children shows, will be hosting the show.

Thans to the effort of many people, and the new Junior Eurovision Team, including Vlad, Kath, and Luke Fisher and so many others, the figure of 16 countries was achieved, with the debuts of Italy, only BIG5-Member taking part, and Eslovenia and Montenegro together with the returns of Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia and Serbia.

Unfortunately, Azerbaijan, Moldova and FYR Macedonia won't be taking part in Malta.

The 2nd and 3rd prizes won't be awarded in the show, but in the following press conference. The first seven points will appear in the screen and the spokespersons will announce the 8, 10 and 12 points. Host 2014:

Moira Delia (30 October 1971, Malta) is a Maltese TV Show host and actress that has been chosen to host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Malta. This woman has already host some Maltese National Finals and varios shows realted to the contest.

She has a large experience hosting TV Shows in local channels, most of them related to music, and some related to animals.

She loves Kickboxing, TV series and hanging out with her friends, as well as being with her son Gianni, who is a teenager.

Stage 2014:

A large 9 metre high 10 mm LED video wall surface is set up in back of the stage, a 28 metre wide stage and 508 square metres of LED screens is what is planned for this sensational Junior Contest to be held in Malta on 15 November.

Scenic triangles fill up the stage over the 2 side catwalks. The panels will be installed with a mechanism that will allow them to rotate to create spectacular effect. Each 20mm LED screen is surrounded by mirrors to intensify the camera effects. The floor is also made up of a 10mm LED.

The stage was presented during the Heads of Delegations meeting held at PBS. “The design comes from the shape and the colours of the 2014 JESC logo. It is made up of a series of triangles folded over to form a giant origami in an űber-contemporary piece of architecture with a focus on the stage to promote the complete involvement of the audience in the presentation. It is the perfect mix between the joyous world of children and the refined atmosphere of contemporary architecture. It’s going to look really classy” said John McCullagh, the Creative Director of the show.

The design also includes an intelligent design of the auditorium in order to maximise the use of the space, with lighting on the side sheds and a number of balconies to create a feeling of being #together in the show.

800 kids from 16 different Maltese schools each supporting a different country, will fill in the area in front of stage to create an international juvenile atmosphere.

Dođi, u naše carstvo, nije šala, uđi, u kuću šarenu od murala da te podsjetim šta je igra, jer ne uči se to iz knjiga... Ma dosta je bilo briga! Ja imam savršen plan, pođi samnom i reći ću ti šta! Hajde, uzmimo se za ruke jednostavno. Znaš, jer nije to ni bilo tako davno. Imali ste naše godine, niste znali tad za razlike. To djeci važno nije! Ja imam savršen plan, pođi samnom i reći ću ti šta! Budi dijete na jedan dan, i otkrićeš tajne koje znam! Ja imam savršen plan, jer svjetu nedostaju sitnice! Budi dijete na jedan dan, i osmjeh vratićeš na lice!!! Come on everyone, I'v got a perfect plan And I wanna say Be a kid for a daaaaaaay!

This made her very uncertain, while she thought he was interested in her, but at the same time he never took initiative which made her very insecure. Suddenly, the inspiration for a song came up. Julia started playing the piano, and translated her feelings into song lyrics. She called the song ‘Around’ and, with no stage or any serious performing experience at all, she decided to sign up for the Junior Song Contest in The Netherlands. Julia submitted a very different version of "Around" composed by herself to Junior Songfestival 2014 (first audition, live audition, final audition); after being selected, her song is revamped by the Rocketeers' producers. On September 27, Julia becomes the winner of the 12th edition of Junior Songestival. She got 12 points from both, juries and audience.
