MissionJunior AcaDemY

The Sally Ride Science Junior Academy offers fascinating and fun learning experiences in science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) designed for students entering grades 6 through 12 during the 2018-2019 school year. During these classes and workshops, students assume the roles of space explorer, ocean engineer or computer scientist as they immerse themselves in hands-on projects. Top-notch STEAM instructors lead these classes and workshops, serving as both teachers and role models. The classes and workshops also incorporate real-life stories of vibrant women conducting research in each field. Their examples inspire students and help make STEAM careers more accessible.
