1. 1. The 4th Annual Sports Meet 2013 Grand Finale has been Celebrated by Corporate Welfare department on 5th April 2013 at Indian Social and Cultural Centre ,Abu Dhabi . Volunteers, sports participants as well as eminent representatives from ETA (M&E) Division partici- pated in this grand finale. ETA (M&E) Division secured the sec- ond rank in the overall tourna- ment. The trophy was handed over Mr. Sivapal, Sr. Executive HR and admin. as well as Mr. Soukat Kumar Bhattacherjee, Executive, Employee Welfare, Abu Dhabi by eminent dignitaries from Ministry of Labour and Ministry of Sports, UAE. Around 150 staff and work- men were actively participated in different sports event through out the period of four months. Mr. Manoj Dhoot had appre- ciated Abu Dhabi Blood Bank for ac- cepting request and becoming part of program. He also appreciated all the employees who took initia- tive an became part of initiative of CSR strategy. Our 70 employees donated blood in this occasion. 2. 2. MEDICAL AND HEALTH CAMP CONDUCTED FOR EMPLOYEES INITIATIVES TAKEN ON WORKMENS PENSION SCHEMES LAUNCHED BY GOVERNMENT OF INDIA. NEW YEAR CELEBRATION FOR WORKMEN Employee Welfare Desk, ETA (M&E) Division, Abu Dhabi con- ducted medical and health check up campaign for all its employees in association with Al Ahaliya Hospital, Abu Dhabi and Dawn Medical Centre, Abu Dhabi. The Health camp was organized at head office of the Division at Mus- safa, Abu Dhabi on 27th February 2013. More than 150 employees were benefited in this camp. During afternoon Health talk was organized for the employees. Over 50 employees joined health talk and raised many concerns related to their health. Dr. Muk- herjee answered their concerns in detail and stressed the impor- tance of maintaining healthy routine life.. Vote of thanks was passed by Mr. Soukat K Bhattacherjee, Executive employee welfare. our talented workmen Welfare desk explored the possibility of more attractions by identi- fying the talent of workmen in magic show, mimicry , com- edy etc. Over 2000 employees were gathered and enjoyed this colourful evening and welcomed the year 2013. New year Celebration was organized by employee welfare desk on 31st De- cember 2012 at ICAD labour camp. With amaz- ing cultural program by gram on workmens pension scheme launched by Government of India for ECR category employees with support of Embassy of India , Abu Dhabi. The aim was to share knowl- edge about Mahatma Gandhi Pravasi Suraksha Yojna (MGPSY) in different Camps. A couple of meet- ings took place in various labour camps in association with IWRC and Bank of Baroda. Mr. D S Meena, Second Secretary (Labour relations), Embassy of India, Employee Welfare Desk had taken initiative for mass awareness pro- representatives from IWRC and Bank of Baroda were present in this occasion. 3. 3. M&E Division Abu Dhabi con- secutively organized Intra Divi- sional Sports meet 2012 Grand Finale on March 22nd, 2013 at ICAD Labor accommodation. Different sports participants, es- teemed dignitaries and representa- tives from management attended the program. The program started with welcome song presented by Mr. Stanley Joseph and team fol- lowed by amazing cultural pro- gram by talented workmen. Mr. Jaberil Jakriti , cluster Manager of Khadamat, ICAD Residential City appreciated ETA management for conducting such a mass recrea- tional event. A fabulous cultural event including singing, dancing, magic shows, comedy shows, dramatics etc were made the event a grand success. Mr. V Siva- pal, Sr. executive HR and Ad- m i n i s t r a t i o n addressed the workmen and appealed them to come forward and join the activities in the coming years. He also indi- cated progres- sive changes in the policies and plan to techni- cally assess all the work- men to fix their skill level and standardization of the salary. The cultural team participants, logistic team members conferred re- wards by Mr. Sivapal and Mr. Nayef Ahamad. The event was blasted with presence of senior mana- gerial employees through- out the evening. Vote of thanks was passed by Mr. Thirumeni Dhamodaran, Welfare Executive of CCAD pro- ject. HSE Award (2012) was conferred to the best HSE practices adopted employees for their exemplary efforts and achievement in vari- ous project on June 15th 2013 The awardees were determined by scrutinizing the HSE performance of all the staff members based on multiple criteria throughout the year. The Management lauded the efforts taken by all employees, especially those who came to the top of the table, in enhancing the HSE Management System in the Division and exhorted all to fur- ther contribute in improving the current position. The winners were awarded with Certificates of Appreciation and gift vouchers . The best score staff members (2012) were Mr. Anandan Kumar (Gulf Hotel Project), Mr. Abdul Rab Wasti (Al Reem Island Pro- ject), Mr. Sajjad Hussain (FMD, Ruwais). Further, the Management also acknowledged and appreciated the exemplary efforts taken by Mr. Ketan Lad & Mr. Maheshlal in establishing and maintaining good HSE controls in the Duct Work- shop and for achieving ADEHSMS approval. Best Performing Project/ Divi- sion in terms of HSE Manage- ment was declared and the award was bagged by Al Ain Stadium Project Team. The award included Certificate and Rolling Trophy for the Best Performance which will be re- tained by the winners for 6 months. HSE AWARD 2012 CONFERRED TO HSE PERSONNELS badminton players. In this occasion wonderful cultural program was organized by employees of FMD. Eminent representatives from FMD Divison, M&E Division and major Client ADNOC partici- pated in the program. Mr. Nixon and Mr. Sajjad ,Project Manager addressed the em- ployees and appreciated their effort to organize the sports event. They boosted up the morale of employees saying that sports events brings all the employees together and develop team work among them. Mr. Sreedharan, Sr. HVAC Engineer ADNOC appreciated the effort of ETA management to organize such program and bringing out talents of workmen in sports events. FMD ORGANISED SPORTS AND CULTURAL DAY CELEBRATION 2013 AT RUWAIS. Facility Management Division organized. Sports and Inter Cultural day Celebration 2013 for all its employees working at Ruwais.
