It is a blessing to worship in the Wesley Way congregation every Sunday! Whether

this is your first visit or you’re a charter member, I hope this is a meaningful time of

worship for you and I hope you feel the presence of the Holy Spirit during today’s

service. Wesley Way offers two worship opportunities. The informal, contemporary

service meets at 8:30am and the traditional service at 10:30am. Both services meet in

the sanctuary.

Pool Party Come join us for summertime fun at the pool!

Our “School’s Out” Pool Party for Children

will be held today, Sunday, June 4, from 2:30-

4:30pm at the home of Bethany and Ross

Iddings (1216 Foxcreek Dr., McDonough).

All children must be accompanied by an adult

during the party. Please bring a snack to

share.

Vacation Bible School June 26 -30 9:00am-12:00pm

Hero Central: Discover Your Strength in

God! The kids will go on an awesome

adventure alongside some of their favorite

Bible heroes and discover the qualities that

make us truly heroic in God.

VBS registration forms are located on the

bulletin board across from the nursery. Please

fill out the registration form and place $5.00

payment in the box on the table. Many

volunteers are needed to help make Hero

Central VBS a success! Sign-up sheets are

located on the board for both adult and youth

volunteers! If you have any questions, please

see Tabitha Hunsucker. We have lots of

donations needed for VBS. Please take a

donation star off of the bulletin board and re-

turn your donation by Sunday, June 18. We

are also in need of boxes of all shapes and

sizes, toilet paper rolls and paper

towel rolls, to help transform the building into

Hero Central. VBS Flyers are available in the

narthex underneath the TV monitor. Please

take a stack to hand out to family and friends.

Dinner out We will meet at 7:00pm at Silver Bay on

June 15th for dinner and fellowship.

Game Night Game night will be at the Jenkins' home on

Friday, June 16 at 7:00pm. Vans will leave

the church at 6:30pm as parking is limited at

their home. We need to have the names of all

attending for entrance into Eagles Landing,

so be sure to RSVP for game night.

CRAFT MINISTRY

We are working on lots of exciting things for

June and July. We will meet for two full days

—Friday, June 16, and Saturday, June 17—to

prepare for Christmas in July. We will be

crafting on July 13, 14, 15 and holding

demos and classes to get a head start on

Christmas gifts. We are also going to offer

another beginners’ sewing class!

Got Tuesday The first Got Tuesday is this Tuesday June 6

from 12:15 – 4:30 at Sky Zone and Sonic in

McDonough. Please eat lunch before you

arrive to the church. We need to be at Sky

Zone by 12:30 to get checked in and fill out

the waivers. So we will be leaving at 12:20 at

the latest. Parents you can go online before

Tuesday to http://www.skyzone.com/

mcdonough/Online-Waiver/WaiverType/

NoPaper. Waivers are location specific (Sky

Zone McDonough). All attendees under the

age of 18 MUST have their waiver

completed by THEIR legal parent or

guardian. No one will be permitted to jump

without a completed waiver. We can fill

them out at Sky Zone, too, if you are unable to

go on-line. We will jump for an hour starting

at 1:00 pm and then go get some treats over at

Sonic. It should be a really fun afternoon. Cost

is $16.00 (if you have Sky Zone Socks bring

them, it will save you $2.00) and then money

for Sonic.

Youth Summer Mission Trip The youth will be attending River of

Life mission in Dallas, Georgia , Wednesday,

June 21 - Sunday, June 25. This is a great

experience for all involved — working with a

community of Christians and learning to love

our neighbors. Registration is closed. Please

be in prayer for all attending Youth and what

God has in store for them during that week.

BABY BASKETS Wesley Way will be welcoming two

babies to our church family in the next

several months. Please consider helping the

families by filling the baskets in the narthex

and showering the families with Wesley Way

love!

The McKaigs are expecting Caroline

Elizabeth on July 3. Caroline will be joining

her two big brothers, Carson and Cole.

The Robersons are expecting baby boy

Roberson on September 14. This is baby #3

(the second boy) and will join his older

siblings, Kyleigh and Cohan.

CELEBRATIONS Congratulations to the Wilson family. Selena,

Richard and big sister, Ada, welcomed

Abigail Leigh into their family on Sunday,

May 28.

FOOD PANTRY 129 pounds of food and 26 pounds of

zucchini from the garden were delivered to the

Food Pantry on Tuesday, May 30. Thank you

for your faithfulness in donating to this worthy

cause.
