June 2018 CRB AFRICA LEGAL MONTHLY NEWSLETTER ISSUE 0012 Mr. Richard Mchwampaka who was interning at the firm and had left for further studies at the Law School of Tanzania, has rejoined us. The firm is happy to have him back. Mr. Tumwesige Evans who recently did his law school examination has passed. He will be admitted into the Bar of Tanzania in December. The firm congratulates him on the success and upcoming milestone. On 6th May 2018, Mr. Lumambo who is a BRELA officer, conducted training for the lawyers of CRB on the BRELA Online Registration System at CRB AFRICA LEGAL. As of February 2018, BRELA issued an announcement that it will start using the online business names registration, that will allow Tanzanians wherever they are to register Business Names using computer or mobile phones or tablets connected to the internet. As part of this change the firm is now updating companies on the BRELA Online Registration Systems, upon instructions from clients. Mr. Gervas Mugassa, who is awaiting his admission into the Bar of Tanzania in December, has joined the firm as a legal officer during the month of May. We welcome him to the team. Ms. Sarah Ngonyani who was a legal intern has exited the firm and is expecting to join the Law School of Tanzania in June. Ms. Juliana Rugashumba has also left the firm to go and further pursue her career. We wish them all the best.
