Dear Brothers and Sisters, Here we are going into June and we have our largest fundraiser coming at us with the Coast Guard Entertainment Tent. We will need many volunteers to make this happen, so please look for sign-up sheets and notices in the social room! We will need help from setting up to tear down, serving and watching exits and securing the premises. (See notices on line and in social room). We are also revising our by-laws (see separate notice) . We are looking for Door volunteers also to help
run social room so please help with this request as this is actually a good way to meet fellow members and help your Aerie.( See Vice President Roger Wilder to help with door ) We are in a new year of membership drive so make that obligation and sign up some new members. Keep an eye on newsletter calendar as we have a lot of events and things going on. We are proud of our “Mother of Year” Amy Simpson and our Mr. Eagle John Simmer and Mrs. Eagle Char Corwin , all who help so much with this organization. We have some great entertainment coming up and we hope to see you come down and enjoy some cold adult beverages. Remember we will be reading our by-law changes at meetings on June 1st and June 15th and final reading July 6th. As we begin June we start with a new Secretary Glenn Kade who will be replacing Dean Nash. A BIGTHANKS to Dean for staying on until we filled that position, we are grateful for Deans help and Welcome Glenn as our new Secretary. Remember Coast Guard Entertainment Tent July 29th to August 1st. We will need your help! The sign up sheets will be posted the week of June 22nd in the social room. Thank You David Fritz, Worthy President

This will be my last letter as your new secretary, Glenn Kade and assistant to the secretary Julia Fullerton will continue to provide excellent service to you. Glenn worked as a trustee in the office with me for over 2 years as is very familiar with our operations. The Aerie has sponsored a Tee for the annual American Red Cross Golf Outing in Ottawa County. We also purchased 12 Infant car seats for the Lakeshore Pregnancy Center and a donation to Hospice of North Ottawa, purchased 2 jackets for the Ottawa County Sheriff volunteer Advocate team, donated to the North Ottawa Rod & Gun club for their youth firearms training, sponsored a team in the Tri-Cities Kids League program. These donations are made possible with your support of our Aerie activities. The Michigan State Eagles convention will be held June 18, 19, 20 at Valley Plaza in Midland. Hello Riders, Hope everyone is well, enjoying the weather and riding a lot! Nominations were closed at the May meeting, no opposition for any office so all officers remain the same. The 27 th annual Sandy Corley Memorial event is on June 11-13 th and tickets are available at the bar in the social room. Our 5 th annual Toys for Tots Run will be Saturday July 11th. This year's event is going to be our best one yet thanks to the help of several Aerie members. Jack Olthof is chairing the event and has a great day planned. Glenn Kade is planning the ride. We are going to have a pig roast, live music by High Ry-der, craft show and silent auction. A poster is on our board with all the registration details. If you have any items you would like to donate for the silent auction, please contact Patti Schleeter at 616-607-9193. Also the bus is going to be available, check out our board for a sign-up sheet for that. Our next meeting will be on Sunday June 7th at 2pm. Hope to see you there and as always bring any thoughts and ideas for riding. Here's a thought to keep you thinking....wherever you go, there you are. Ride safe! Tami Riemersma Eagle Rider Secretary
