With respect for the diversity of our backgrounds, traditions, and practices, we join together in worship, study, celebration, and social action.

Temple Concord offers a free, monthly professional music series that is open to the entire community. It is an incredible opportunity to see performances by musicians of the highest caliber. Concerts are presented though the generosity of the Regina F. Goldenberg Cultural Fund, and donations are welcome.

For many years now, we have had a garden right next to the sanctuary that provides tomatoes, squash, cucumbers and much more for our food pantry. Gardeners Mike Fixler, Chana Meir, and Ellyn Roloff plant, water, weed and harvest to keep the garden healthy and bountiful. Over the years, our K’vutzat Gan (Garden Team) has also included Barry Glickstein, our Temple youth group, led by Kathy Scott, who designed and created the “Concord Acres” sign, Mrs. Green Jeans, a congregant and professional, who helped a great deal, and Marty Weiss, who provided compost. Sue and Ernie Wass are very helpful, particularly as liaisons to the Food Pantry and making sure the produce got harvested. Temple Concord’s third and fourth grade Religious School students have worked in the garden as part of their education showing them an example of how we are commanded to be caretakers of our environment and to feed the hungry. There have been more volunteers who have helped and we apologize to anyone we’ve missed. On that last note, we cordially invite temple members, both young and old, to join us working in the garden. There are different jobs that need to be done depending on the time of year, weather conditions, and how things are growing. We could use your help...
