Day Camp Extended We are in the heart of Week 7 at our Summer Day Camp program and we are happy to announce that we have extended the Day Camp program with an additional two weeks (weeks 9 & 10) at the Weyers Cave Community Center. This extra weeks are filling quickly so please register as soon as possible.

Our New Intern - Eddy We are pleased to continue our relationship with the Woodrow Wilson Rehab Center as we welcome our newest intern, Eddy. Eddy (right) started with us on July 20 and will be here for the next six weeks. Eddy is a quick learner who looks to bring librarian skills to us including filing and scanning. His hobbies include eschatological studies, scrabble, crossword puzzles and other logic games. He will work out of the membership desk in the front lobby from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. each day.

July 19 Movie at the YMCA At the urging of our Monday Morning Bible Study group and our Chaplain Dave Boger, we were happy to host our first ever movie day at the Staunton-Augusta YMCA. We had more than 30 people come out to see the movie “God’s Not Dead” in our multi-purpose room. This number far exceeded our goals and we will improve our viewing experience with future movies we host.

Other News: • We have discovered a leak in a pipe in the filter system of the hot tub. We have

contacted a plumber and they should be on site late July 23 or early July 24. After it is fixed it will take us time to get the temperature back up to normal. Thank you for your patience.

• Registrations are open for the YMCA Afterschool Program starting next month and our Fall Youth Volleyball program. Also, there is room in next week’s Gymnastic Camp.
