Dear friends,

Delighted to report our President Carmel was able to attend Ser-vice on Sunday, and was welcomed by all.. So glad Jenny Havebond was able to bring her along.

We should be all recharged after the Easter break, and now we move into May, with a full programme. So many interesting things ahead.. Further classes in development, workshops, and a visit from Jason McDonald, after a break of almost 10 years.

Coffee Club is settling in, with lively discussion, and opportunity to meet members not usually in our group. Great initiative!

Following the success of Tarot at Coffee Club, Senta is running a course on Saturdays, details in Facebook and newsletter. Crystal Healing workshop with Mark John Purdy in August: we are planning an Open Day here at Swan Street 10th September and October brings a special two day workshop with U.K. Medium Paul .Jacobs. (check his work on YouTube)

Our August Retreat...your money is due NOW, please organise your payment this week, and a reminder that fees are now overdue, ($10) this could be your last newsletter if you have forgotten to pay!

EXTRA INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHAKRAS.

I was reminded about the importance of the Chakras when my daughter reminded me that I needed to have a Chakra Balance in order to heal the damage done to the Aura after my recent operation for a Cataract on the left eye. She reminded me that I had always stressed to anyone having an operation that it was important to get the Aura working as it should by sealing the damage done to it by re balancing the Chakras so that the body was in good working condition again. The Chakra System is a wonderful tool we have that can be looked at and used in many different ways. Knowledge of the Chakra System was brought to us from the East many years ago and all of our Healers work with the Chakras in many different ways. All of our Chakras are affected by our thoughts. Messages go down the spine from our brain and connect with the Chakras that commence in our spine and flow out through Chakra centres in the body. It is one of the reasons why women have problems in the Sacral area (below the Navel) as this is the centre connected with taking care of others and trying to fit into the needs of others! Each of the Chakras deal with different areas and needs of the body. The Root Chakra (Red) deals with our need to 'fit in' with society, family and friends. Problems here affect our legs, weight, blood circulation,etc. The Sacral Chakra (Orange) deals with our need to fit into the needs of others Problems here affect our reproductive area and bowel area.. The Solar Plexus (Yellow) deals with our need to express our own needs Problems here creates different Rashes, indigestion etc.. The Throat Chakra (Blue) deals with our need to express our thoughts and abilities. Problems here creates tightness of shoulder/mouth area and throat problems. The Third Eye (Indigo) deals with our need to look within and be creative. Problems here creates tightness of the head and headaches and eye problems. The Crown Chakra (Violet) deals with our need to receive information from our Guides and helpers. Problems here result in confused thinking and lack of confidence. I have discovered also that 13 Chakras can be accessed around the Head. The usual 7 are there and there is another 6 Chakras starting to work as we move into the Aquarian Age. They are coloured 'in between ' each of our present Chakras and relate to the second layer of the Aura, that is Orange, the colour connected with relationships. They are Red Orange, Gold, Lime Green, Turquoise, and Red/Purple. A picture of these I found in a Medical book and when I place my pendulum in front of one of these places around the head the Pendulum will swing and circle, indicating the energy being used by these Chakras. You can also connect with the Angels who work with these Chakras . Angel Michael rules over the Root Chakra, Angel Metatron rules the Sacral Chakra. Archangel Uriel and Angel Princes rule over the Solar Plexus Archangel Raphael and 'The Virtues' rule over the Heart Chakra Archangel Gabriel rules over the Throat Chakra The Goddess Isia-Sophia rules over the Third Eye Chakra THE SOURCE or the Christ Light rules the Crown Chakra. So when you are sending Healing to one of these Chakra areas you can also ask for help from the Heavenly Guardians who care for them. BITS AND PIECES

Coffee Club Report. . Although the day was a little grey we still had a good roll up without some of our regulars whom we missed as we know their input and friendship always helps in adding further interest to conversations. We had another four new visitors who came along to have a peek at our Coffee Club. Welcome and we hope you had an interesting afternoon and come back to visit again. Celebration with birthday cake and song for one of our members was enjoyed by all. We all went well as for some it was the first time. Full tummies and onwards although we did miss the extra savouries that didn’t arrive this month. We continued on with the session and a card was chosen by all to have a go at reading. As our visitors did not have a reading last month some of our group again kindly offered to read the Tarot cards. There is a lot to learn from the Tarot and it is such an interesting subject dating back to whoever’s side of history one wants to delve into. It held so much interest that one of our group is looking to hold an Introduction to Tarot for any church members and friends who may be interested. No time for pschycomentry, that will be another session. Until next month we bid you adieu. Our next Coffee Club will be on Saturday, 16th July at 2pm. The topic for this talk will be ASTRAL TRAVEL. This Winter is looking to be full of interesting events. Our Church retreat in August is being finalised. Your money is NOW DUE. This is the bargain of the century as the $150 covers meals and accommodation from Friday evening to lunchtime Sunday. There may be 2 vacancies left, so hop in if you are interested. Remember money is now due. Takes a lot of organising, so do your part and pay this week. 20th August we have a Crystal Healing Workshop with Mark John Purdy 10th September the date of our second open day. The first one was a great success, enabling all who came along to see just what we are about, and what we believe. 8th October our AGM. Please consider standing for committee, and approach others who you believe would be interested. We need interested, caring members prepared to contribute time. Weekend of 15th & 16th October Two day workshop with Paul Jacobs, joined by Biagio Tropeano & Val Hood. Paul is senior tutor at the Arthur Findlay College, one of the most established in Spiritual development in U K Paul’s only other workshop in Australia is in Canberra, we are already receiving enquiries about this workshop. See full notice in this newsletter. Due to all the interest in learning of the Tarot, Senta is starting a weekly workshop, 2 hours a week, 11am-1pm $20 a day. Ring her have a chat about what it entails. However be quick, it begins this Saturday 2nd July. Haven’t much News of members as our house has been visited by a series of plagues, all laid low, so haven’t even made it to committee. However, the whole family has now recovered, the ambulance bills are in, so have endeavoured to catch up in this newsletter. To all our members not feeling 100%, you have my sympathy and of course my best wishes for your speedy recovery. Please take time to read the contents of newsletter, so much is happening and planned, and interest and involvement of our members in the secret ingredient that will make it all succeed.

As always the mistakes are mine.

A farmer went out one day and bought a brand new stud rooster for his chicken coop. The new rooster

struts over to the old rooster and says, ‘OK old fart, time for you to retire.’ The old rooster replies, ‘Come

on, surely you cannot handle all of these chickens. Look what it has done to me. Can’t you just let me

have the two old hens over in the corner?’ The young rooster says, ‘Beat it. You are washed up and I

am taking over.’ The old rooster says, ‘I tell you what, young stud. I will race you around the farmhouse.

Whoever wins gets the exclusive domain over the entire chicken coop.’ The young rooster laughs. ‘You

know you don’t stand a chance, old man. So, just to be fair, I will give you a head start.’ The old rooster

takes off running. About 15 seconds later, the young rooster takes off running after him. They round the

front porch of the farmhouse and the young rooster has closed the gap He is only about two

metres behind the old rooster and gaining fast. The farmer, meanwhile, is sitting in his usual spot on the

front porch when he sees the roosters running by. The Old Roster is squawking and running as hard as

he can. The farmer grabs his shotgun and – BOOM – he blows the young rooster to bits. He sadly

shakes his head and says “Dammit it, that’s the third gay rooster I bought this month

…………….Moral, don’t mess with the older generation. Age, skill and wisdom always overcome

Today a man knocked on my door and asked for a small donation towards the local swimming pool, so I gave him a glass of water. I changed my password to "incorrect" so whenever I forget it the computer will say, "Your password is incorrect."

One day God was looking down at earth and

saw all of the rascally retirees' behaviour that was going on

So He called His angels and sent one to earth for a time.

When the angel returned, he told God, ‘Yes, it is bad on earth;

95% of retirees are misbehaving and only 5% are not.

God thought for a moment and said, 'Maybe I had better send

down a second angel to get another opinion.'

So God called another angel and sent

her to earth for a time.

When the angel returned, she went to God

and said, 'Yes, it's true.

The earth is in decline; 95% of retirees are

misbehaving, but 5% are being good

'God was not pleased.

So He decided to e-mail the 5% who were good, because he wanted

to encourage them, and give them a little something to help them

keep going. Do you know what the e-mail said?
