Something Good Is About To Happen.” The key line says, “I just feel like something good is on its way.”Something good is happening at Cornerstone TeleVision, and something greater is on its way! The key tounlock that “something greater” is prayer.

Every great move of God was built on the foundation of prayer. The prayers of “Norma’s SuperSeven” were instrumental in starting this ministry. Now, the prayers of the newly-formed Norma’s700 Prayer Team will lead us into the future.

GIFTS FROM THE HEART

I n Chapter 43, Verse 19, Isaiah was

clearly prophesying about the coming Redeemer of Israel.

But the scripture above keeps coming to my mind as I reflect

on this new season at Cornerstone TeleVision. So many

of you who are reading this newsletter provided the prayers

and gifts that built the TV

station. Through your

help and the faithfulness

of our leaders, Cornerstone

TeleVision grew from the

humble trailers that once

housed its offices and

a functional micro-studio

(complete with phone lines for prayer calls)! Over the years,

God has truly made “roads in the wilderness” and “rivers in

the desert” for Cornerstone TeleVision!

Aren’t we all grateful that God has always

provided leaders who love the Lord with

all their hearts, who believe the Bible is the

Holy Spirit-inspired Word of God, and who

live out their faith daily? From the start,

Norma and Russ Bixler (founders) were

faithful to the call of God. Later, Oleen

Eagle and Ron Hembree (past presidents)

built on the scriptural foundation. They

never wavered in their commitment to share the Gospel

via television— and then the Internet.

We are seeing those same characteristics in our current

leader, Don Black, and I hope many of you will take

advantage of the opportunities to meet him personally

in the days ahead. Don is genuine in his desire to meet

you, and he is praying with you that God will continue

the work He started here at CTVN.

The world is different from what it was when CTVN

went on the air in 1979. As we press forward, we need

God to make a road in the wilderness of new technology.

We also need rivers of the living water to flow into the

desert culture that we live in! For two hundred years,

missionaries have gone from the United States to countries

around the world, while the devil was quietly sowing

seeds of destruction right here within our own homes,

schools, and government.

Now, more than ever, Cornerstone TeleVision needs to

be a voice and visual for Christ, preaching and teaching

in the power of the Holy Spirit. Come along my friends;

there are exciting days ahead, and we need you!
