programme-1976 from Jazz Institut Darmstadt

several of my friends, who had been present at the 1976 Festival days, had always seen

there the J.Chr.Averty team with cars & film-equipment, and wondered that nothing from these footage was aired by ORTF, nor that such material exist in any archives.

There´s an article found in the newspaper Nice-Matin July 1976, in which J.-Chr.Averty is rather angry about ther ORTF, for whom he had filmed a lot of stuff, but nothing was aire, obviously for lack of money. (but where is such stuff now ??)

29.46 Nice, La grande parade du jazz 1978

1978 1) 55 unbroadcasted sessions are listed without details; partly additional parts to

TV-sessions; screenshots-compilations from all these sessions are available from me. Sessions with timed-items of my interest have been available to me.

2) longert TV-compilations from different sessions were also listed without any

details about concert-dates, line-ups, titles; my tries to get “restricted” access on an exemplary session were without result. Obviously single parts from these longle compilations were aired on the listed TVs later.
