Workspace ModificationsScenario ModificationService window, retail, or reception locationthat cannot, due to its business operation, maintain a 6' separation.

Workstation that does not have a 60” or greater panel height, that is smaller than 40 SF and does not allow for at least 6' of separation.

Workspace where students/faculty or staff must share a work surface, and 6' of separation is not possible.

Individual workstations that are 40 SF or greater.

Existing workspace is less than 6’ apart but6’ separation can be achieve by rearrangement, assigning some staff to working from home or temporarily locating them in other areas.

COVID Building Signage for Public SpacesTo properly insure recommended COVID signage is installed throughout our buildings, we are asking that the Building Coordinators help post signage in public areas of the building. These areas will include the following spaces.

• Entries• Lobbies• Public Seating Areas• Elevators• Restrooms• Student Queuing Areas

• Water Fountains/Bottle Filling Stations• Break Rooms• Student Lounges• Conference Rooms• Stairwells• Other Common Area Spaces

Cullen Boulevard Improvement ProjectWe are excited about the transformation of Cullen. The new 3 lane roadway along with the shared use path and street trees welcomes you to the south entrance of the campus. The Shared-use path creates a pedestrian and bike friendly thoroughfare from the Bayou to I-45. The designated bike path connects the university to the various bike paths in the city which is a component of the City of Houston’s Bike Plan expanding the high-comfort bikeway network.

• Segment A (North MacGregor to Wheeler) has undergone its transformation. The new 3 lane roadway along with the shared use path and street trees welcomes you to the south entrance of the Campus. The University will be installing new pedestrian lights, banners and bus shelters along the shared use path to complete this section.

• Segment B (Wheeler to I-45) is scheduled to start in September 2020.

• Maintain one lane of traffic in each direction (however, Harris County does anticipate a multi-month full road closure from Wheeler to Cougar Place)

disruptions and schedule closures around university activities.

• Set-up multiple communications streams (email, text, phone, in-person meeting)

• Proactively communicate on behalf of Facilities Services

• Ensure integrity of FAMIS, help to ensure that system notes are communicated accurately

Strategic Improvement

• Work with BCs and FS Supervisors to coordinate work, report problems and resolve outstanding issues

• Check status of generated WO information twice daily• Prioritize communications and activities for various WO priority levels• Track WOs 30 days or older to assist in completion and communication• Help to make sure WO task notes are up to date and accurate
