Church of the Holy Child 4747 Amboy Road Staten Island, NY 10312

Dear Marie & congregation:

On behalf of the Vascular Birthmarks Foundation (VBF), thank you for your generous donation of $120.00 in memory of Samantha Hare. An acknowledgment of your gift has been sent to her grandparents.

Last year we celebrated networking our 100,000th

patient into treatment. What a glorious event it was to know that we have helped so many families from all over the world. We continue to receive over 3,000,000 views monthly on our websites; have awarded 600 free conference scholarships; maintain 10 chapters on 6 of the 7 continents; held over 210 Day of Awareness events; sponsored 16 conferences, 12 walks/runs; funded 6 research projects; awarded 5 physician education grants and 17 college scholarships. We also sponsored 5 international medical mission trips. None of these accomplishments would have happened without your support.

We continue our “Sponsor a Family” campaign where anyone can donate $500 to a scholarship that will enable a needy family to attend our annual conference/clinic. This year we will award five $1,000 college scholarships to a college-bound student diagnosed with a vascular birthmark.

VBF took our iTEAM (international education and treatment outreach) to Italy in 2016. This international team has successfully treated over 125 children and adults for free and has educated over 525 physicians and medical experts. This year we are also launching the first ever on-line course in vascular anomalies called “A Foundation in Vascular Anomalies. Through this educational effort, physicians from all over the world will learn about the latest in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular anomalies.

Visit us at www.birthmark.org so that you can see that every donation we receive is hard at work. Our “Experts Corner” provides direct access to physicians who are specialists in the field of vascular birthmarks. Despite the economy, we continue working to increase access to care for our families and we continue to host our annual international family & physician conference so that each family receives an accurate diagnosis and an appropriate treatment plan. Thank you for helping make this possible.

Sincerely,

Lauren Palmateer
