Arts Council England is committed to taking practical steps to embed environmental sustainability in the arts and cultural sectors. Within the life time of this funding agreement, we intend to ask all our national portfolio organisations to develop an environmentalaction policy and annual action plan to improve environmental performance and carbon emissions. Our target for this is 2013 and we will provide support and materials to enable this to happen.– tour planning alongside artistic and financial

considerations.
