Acknowledgements
In this time of bereavement, we still say God is in control. Keep
praying for our family that God will get the glory from our lives.
The family would like to acknowledge with deep gratitude the
expressions of love and concern towards us. Thank you to all the
family and friends for your prayers, loving support, contributions,
flowers, cards and gifts of love during this time of Julia Mae
Tubbs' promotion to glory! A special thanks to Nate and JaNee
Griffith and Sally Alatishe.
~ The Family of Julia Tubbs
Psalm 23
The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
He refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk
through the darkest valley.
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me. You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD.
forever.

I’ll Rest Now
No more sorrow will be mine
No more burdens must I bear
No more heartaches shall I endure
Weighted down with earthly cares.
I’ll rest now.
While here on earth, I did my best
A friend to all I tried to be.
So this day, no regrets I have
While you look down on me.
I’ll rest now.
No more will I fret and worry
About what the day might bring
I will go to that city
Where God’s holy angels sing!
I’ll rest now.
