2017 Coordinated Plan Update – Alex distributed a draft version of the 2017 Coordinated Plan’s Chapter 2: Demographics. There was discussion about how the information was presented. A schedule was provided, showing the draft Coordinated Plan will be sent out in late August or early September to both the Larimer County Mobility Committee and the WCMC. Edits should be made prior to the October meeting, where members will approve the document. The NFRMPO Planning Council will receive the draft in November for final adoption in December. Alex also distributed a draft version of the Goals and Strategies to be included. Based on outreach so far, the information was distilled into four categories: education; inclusion; improvements for smaller communities; and improvements for larger communities. WCMC members did not have any edits to these categories. Mobility Coordination Brochure – Alex provided a draft version of an updated Mobility Coordination program brochure. The previous version had not been updated in numerous years. There was good feedback and Alex will make the changes necessary. Greeley-Evans Transit News and Updates – Ulysses reported Greeley-Evans Transit had received new buses the previous week, which will run on routes 1, 4, 5, and the Boomerang. Four more buses will arrive next year and will be 40-feet long. Ridership continues to increase. The Transit Center is ahead of schedule for end of August. GET continues to work on a business plan for the Regional Route Study between Greeley/Evans, Windsor, and Fort Collins. As part of the business plan, staff is looking at ridership, routing, timing, etc. Janet asked if the buses will be kneeling buses and Ulysses stated they would be. Libby asked if the transit center will continue to have the same hours and Ulysses said it probably will stay the same.

6. Committee Member Reports

Dori – Dori reported she attended training in St. Louis. North Range Behavioral Health continues to buy GET bus passes – employment is the ultimate goal. United Way is still providing some tickets. Janet – Janet reported Senior Resource Services is offering transportation 24/7, depending on volunteers. SRS is looking to partner with faith groups so parishioners can volunteer to drive and maybe expand to other services. There is a new scheduling tool being used to reassign staff time more efficiently. There is continued training for new drivers and volunteers. There is a task force developing to see what services exist and elevate the needs and gaps. SRS will hold the Ride and Revel! Bicycle Fundraiser on July 22, with a family ride and 20-mile ride. Money raised will benefit SRS to expand and enhance existing services. Alex will forward additional information after the meeting. Libby – Libby stated Sunrise Community Health is doing a lot of marketing in the form of bus wraps, radio ads, and door hangings. The Loveland clinic expanded to five providers. The Adelante Clinic has capacity for 15,000. Sunrise is continuing to enhance walk-in services. Sunrise is working with a grant for a school-based facility through Salida. Committee members stated they were interested in having more discussions about what each organization does. Dori suggested holding a meeting at North Range Behavioral Health to introduce other committee members to the organization’s work.
