Beef Cattle REGULATIONS 1. Entries open to all members of all Rural Youth Clubs up to and including 30 years of age as of 1st January 2019. 2. All exhibits in pavilion section must be delivered to the Stewards at the Fine Arts Pavilion prior to judging times on Page 1. The Fine Arts Pavilion may not be open for the public until 10.30am on Thursday 19th October. Stud Beef Cattle will be judged on Friday 18th October at 3-3.30pm. 3. The Pavilion will be open for collection of exhibits from 8.00am to 10.00, Sunday 20th October. 4. All work must be completed within the last three years except for Photography, which must have been taken in the last 12 months. 5. All entries must be forwarded to the Show Office. NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED. 6. ENTRIES WILL BE CERTIFIED AS BEING THE COMPETITOR'S OWN EFFORT BY THE ORGANISER OR BY THE MEMBER OF THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE CHOSEN FOR THE PURPOSE. Only bona-fide members of a Rural Youth Club will be allowed to compete in any class. 7. All agricultural produce must have been grown by the exhibitor. CATTLE SECTIONS All Exhibits to comply with regulations in open sections 8. Tick Regulations - Lismore Showground is outside the cattle tick protected area, no restrictions on movement outside of tick protection area. 9. Johnes Regulation - All cattle must comply with Johnnes Regulations, and must have NLIS tags inserted as they will be scanned (Lismore Showground PIC No.NK537983) 10. All cattle must be tested for Pestivirus and copy of lab report attached to entry form. (For more information please contact the office on 6621 5916) 11. Age of all Beef Cattle as 1st October 12. All cattle must be the result of the Exhibitors husbandry for at least 3 months prior to the show date. All Cattle must be pure bred. 13. Cattle exhibited by a Rural Youth member must not be exhibited in any open classes under any other name (eg. Parent), however, the animal may still be registered under the family breeders assoc. name. 14. Project books which are entered in Pavilion section and then to be collected and produced with the Cattle where stated in schedule for judging. 15. All possible care will be taken of exhibits, but the Society will not be responsible in any way for loss or damage 16. The Judge's decision will be final in all classes 17. Juniors are eligible to enter in senior sections 18. Please state Club on entry form or entry will be rejected 19. No individual Club banners will be allowed in the Pavilion 20. Champion Awards (prize cards) will be awarded for Champion Vegetable, Needlework, Cookery and Flowers
