Ju Ming is a Taiwanese artist who is famous for his sculpture skills. Ju Ming Museum houses all his creative works. Several years ago, he found that the natural surrounding of this area could enhance the artistic perception and appreciation of his sculpture. Therefore, he decided to build a museum here, and Ju Ming Museum opened to the public on September 19, 1999.

There are 14 sites in Ju Ming Museum.

1.Main Building:This building mainly houses Ju Ming’s earlier works, including wood sculptures, painted wood sculptures and plane paintings.

2. Living World Square: It displays a multitude of sculptures made of bronze and stone, depicting various forms and stories of humanity.

3.Mother Memorial: The memorial was built to show Ju Ming’s affection to his mother. There are works illustrating the deep affection between a mother and her children.

4.Swan Pond: This place is for the visitors to rest and chat.

5.Interchange Area: The museum invites some artists to exhibit their own works on this open-air square.

6.Arts Corridor: The museum hopes to have art exchange with visitors in this place so people can exhibit their own works here.

7.Taichi Square: On Taichi Square, there are over 30 large-size bronze works of Taichi Series.

8.Ju Jun Area: Ju Jun is Ju Ming’s oldest son and a famous sculptor in Taiwan. His well-known Zipper Series are exhibited here.

10.Performance Area: It is an open-air theater for a variety of unscheduled

performances.

9.Pond Area: There are Wish Pond, Lotus Pond and Water-playing Pond.

12.Galleries: Many outstanding foreign and Taiwanese artists’ art works are constantly on display at this hall.

11.Sports Square: On the roof of the building, there are some sculptures of huge parachutes, which are the most obvious settings in the museum.

13.Auditorium: With the capacity to hold 300 people, it provides a great meeting place for lectures and symposiums.

14.Service Center: There are gift shops and a restaurant in

Service Center.
