2012 – MEVEG
A growing awareness of the benefits of being a vegetarian is on the increase globally and we
find many people switching their food habits to vegetarian diets, some having robust health in
mind , others because of awareness of AHIMSA and still others simply because they just love
their veggies. Reasons may be aplenty, but one cannot deny the fact that being a vegetarian is
the right investment for a robust health. The Middle East Vegetarian Group (MEVEG) is a
volunteer driven concept since 2007 is affiliated to the International Vegetarian Union (IVU).
MEVEG – volunteers run group with a vision to offer vegetarian as a choice of food for the
people. On June 23rd
, a day when all the students and parents were present for the Open House,
